After I bought the car I had to go back because I noticed that the dealership did not put the untitled vehicle tags on it. No problem. They put the tags on and told me that I'd see the proper registration before mid-October. They also neglected to give me my copy of the contracts I'd signed - including the contract that waives any grievance rights.\r

At the end of October I was STILL waiting for my vehicle registration. It had not arrived in the mail as it should have and I spent a great deal of time chasing up anyone who knew what had happened to it. \r

Eventually,at the start of November,I received a call from someone (I was at work and I didn't catch her name) that my 'paperwork' was returned in the mail to the Airport Blvd location. I was foolish for thinking it was sorted when I set foot in there - nobody knew what I was talking about and they made it seem like I was crazy for making the claim that someone from their offices called me. Regardlessly, I had to push hard to get them to sort the registration - considering that I was still without proper registration.\r

And I'd recommend anyone buying a car second hand from them ensure that they have the carfax report in hand as well as having a trustworthy mechanic look at the car before signing on the dotted line.\r

I will never buy from Leif Johnson again. As I was new to Austin when I bought the car, I've learned quickly and should've asked around about this dealership. Many people I know have had numerous, disappointing experiences with this company. \r

However, I would like to say that the salesman who helped us was outstanding. He could handle his job. It's just when you're forced to deal with the financial manager and other general managers you may feel like you're combatting mindnumbing, inane simpletons.
Pros: Locations; personable, no pressure sales
