Leblanc's Pay-Less Food Stores

Good: I love that Payless Groceries is my neighborhood grocery story. The prices are great and there is a large variety you can choose from.. Bad: I did not like the attitude of this particular morning cashier. She has had this same horrible attitude since she's been working there. I shop there so much, I know all of the employees by face! But this particular lady is very rude! It makes me almost want to stop shopping there because of her attitude. It's sad because my family consist of five people and I spend around $600 a month in this store. I am very dissatisfied with this cashier and I am going to take further steps of action to assure a change!. Improvements: I would like to see all employees at LeBlanc's greet the customers. Some of the employees there will look in your face and won't even say "Good Morning" and that's no way to do business. Whether you're having a bad day or not, it shouldn't overflow into work. The right thing to do is leave your problems outside of work and come to work with a good attitude. "IT'S YOUR JOB!" Being polite and greeting the customers is not a lot to ask after all the customers are the reason the store is even able to stay open.. Other: Some people need to realize that in business the most important thing to an owner is making money. Without it the company couldn't operate, it couldn't purchase food, pay salaries, and couldn't say open. And in a business like this, the customers are the people who bring in the money. I really have a problem with this cashier's attitude and it needs to be addressed ASAP!. more

At Leblanc's Payless in Plaquemine, you really do pay less. The store is large with a great grocery, meat, produce, and frozen food section. I find that the prices for canned goods can't be beat. The meat is a great quality and they always have the meat section stocked to perfection. The store has wide isles so there is no hassle shopping down one if someone else is there. They have a deli section I can't resist, offering everything from cakes to lunches. They always have plenty of cashiers,I rarely wait in line. The employees are always friendly. Shop the store and find out for yourself. more
