I don't recommend this shop. 1200 bucks to do a complete overhaul of a rear end, axles and bearings. Only did one side and left the other. It went out a little over a year later. more

Goodbye Old Mechanic and Hello Jeff! 1/25/2012

Wow! All I can say is I wish I had been coming here for years and saving myself money. My mechanic of many years said it was going to cost 6 hours and $500.00 to fix my airconditioning fan. Jeff did it in under an hour for $200.00. He also save me $200.00 on replacing my rack and pinion steering. It was the difference between keeping the car and trading the car-which my wife likes! more

LAW isn't for everyone, though. If the car that you need repaired is not your primary vehicle; if you don't depend on it for transportation to work and back; if you don't mind the lack of communication from your auto-shop; if you don't mind leaving it for at least a couple-few days, LAW could be a great shop for you, with affordable repairs from a nice bunch of guys. more

Quick Work on spark plugs 9/20/2011

I dropped a car off that I had just purchased in a person to person sale in the morning basically on a walk in, and by the afternoon they had done a computer diagnostic and discovered misfiring spark plugs. They replaced the plugs and charged nearly nothing in service, and the diagnostic was a good 10$ cheaper than I was quoted at the Pep Boys next door. I had expected to only get a diagnostic on a walk in, but they fixed the problem in the time a chain service would have only ran it through the computer. They also dropped me off at home and picked me up when my car was ready, I would definitely recommend them and use them for future repair, especially if you live on the west side. more

Tranny service 8/22/2011

Took my Nissan to Latondress Auto World to have my tranny serviced because it kept popping out of gear. I appreciate the fact that they are committed to maintaining a highly ethical and sound business which inspired trust on my part. more

Above and beyond my expectations 8/11/2011

The side door of my Honda was totally wrecked in a side collision. It was taken into Latondress Auto World. They did a spectacular job fixing it, now my door looks like new. The mechanics at Latondress definitely went above and beyond my expectations. more

Reasonable cost 7/29/2011

Jeff and his mechanics really know what they are doing. I am a car collector and have many different years makes and models and I am always confident that I will get my cars back in perfect running condition, in timely manner and at a very reasonable cost. It is Hard to find an honest mechanic shop these days like Latondress Auto World. more

Keep coming back 7/29/2011

I need my car, for work and travel so it needs to be serviced right by people who know what they are doing. So that's why when I need a tune-up, oil change or tire change I call these guys up to bring it in. Every time, great job... never had a complaint about their work, rates or employees. They don't talk in circles like other people do you know. I leave happy, always, I never leave like I just been duped. That's why I keep coming back. more

I took my older Pontiac to get brakes at Latondress and never once have I felt that they charged an unfair price for the service offered, nor does it take months to get an appointment at their shop. I stopped by unannounced this month because my car was making a strange noise and they fixed it right on the spot. So I give them a thumbs up. more

Latondress Auto shop blew me away with its speed, skill, and reasonable price. I brought in one of those jobs with mysterious squeaking sounds requiring replacement parts whose names I will never know. I figured they would tell me I needed some kind of part that comes from outer space and I couldn't pronounce but they got back to me within a couple hours, having pinpointed the problem. He explained it in plain English, and got the job done by the day's end for an honest price. more

Pleasantly surprised 7/27/2011

I took my car in not knowing what to expect after my daughter had hit a curb hard and also noticing weird noises coming from my fairly newly bought used car. Latondress Auto World took it right in and fixed it very quickly and it didn't cost nearly as much as I had feared. I was very pleasantly surprised. more
