Best

Tasty drinks, nice crowd, good music!

Worst

me and 3 girlfriends went there on a weeknight, way after happy hour. the bar was barely crowded and the female bartender walked past us over 10 times. she didnt even want to ackn...

Exceeded my expectations 2/5/2007

I usually do not go out in midtown because I do not like the crowd (too touristy) and the prices (too expensive). I found myself pleasantly surprised when I came to Latitude. The drinks were reasonably priced (great Martinis) and the crowd was a good mix. I should mentioned too that the staff was really friendly. I'm glad I finally found a place in this area that I like. I will be back! Pros: Crowd, Prices, Music Cons: Coatcheck downstairs more

Great place for a Birthday Party 2/5/2007

I made a reservation for Saturday night for my Birthday. I had a great time and thought I should write a review about it. We had our own litte area with signs on our tables. We had a really nice waitress but was also right by the bar too. The staff was really friendly and the music was great. And I thought I should mention that they have killer Margaritas and calamari. I had a great time and will definitely reccommend this place to my friends. Pros: Service, Music more

No Good Reason to Return to this Bar 2/2/2007

There's really no good reason to go to this bar. The clientele are straight out of the trash bin, so I guess if you like trash, that's a good reason to go . . . The drinks are average, but watered down, and the staff is extremely rude. If you do find yourself here, as I did because friends were here, the pro is that there is a pool table, and the place isn't so crowded earlier in the night. Pros: Pool Table, Not that crowded earlier in night Cons: Only one pool table, patrons, watery drinks, staff more

Loved the DJ 1/24/2007

Me and some friends stopped by on Saturday night and this place was great. The DJ was playing the best mixes and the drinks were awesome. Highly recommended Pros: great drinks, friendly staff more

Hott bartender, free pool 1/17/2007

Ive been to Latitude a few times...usually to try to get the blonde bartender to give me her number but she wont. The place is pretty solid, alot of guys...a little tight with the women. Free pool and a pretty decent happy hour. Ok..Ive talked about citysearch with you, I know you look on here everynow and then so just call me...you have my card. Dinner and drinks...I know you are leaving there soon, and this is my alst chance to get in touch with you. ""Beth Israel"" as you call me. Pleeeaaaasssssseeeeee....Im a nice guy! Pros: blondie with short skirt. Free Pool Cons: I cant get her number, drinks are pricey. more

Cool Sports Bar 1/14/2007

From the outside you can't tell that this place would be cool to watch sports. And when you walk in it seems like more a of lounge but it's also a good sports scene. There are tons of big screen tvs and great food like nachos and wings. I come here a lot because I'm a huge college sports fan and they play both college football and basketball games here. The crowd is nice for West Virginia games. Very high energy and a lot of fun. Pros: food, big tvs, sports more

Free Billiards 1/12/2007

I made a reservation at Latitude to play pool upstairs. I was pleasantly surprised that it not only was free to book a reservation but also free to play pool. The room up there even had it's own bar and not to mention the bartender was smokin hott. Definitely a cool place. Pros: free billiards, beautiful staff more

LOVE the Music! Great place to have a party and Ladies' Night! 1/11/2007

I came to Latitude last night for my friend's Birthday. Not only did this place have happy hour specials but also drinks specials until 11pm for Ladies' - all these different martinis. They were awesome! The DJ was great and made for a nice atmosphere for dancing. This was my first time here but my girls and I plan on coming back every Wednesday for Ladies' Night. You can't beat the drink specials and music. Pros: music, martinis more

Good Food, Great Staff 1/11/2007

Have been coming here for a while now and thought I should say something about this place. Love the food the Lobster quesadilla is fantastic and the staff is very good ,our regular waitress Jennifer is the kind of server everyone loves she helps you out if you have any questions about things on the menu and is very attentive but not overbearing. The bartenders are pretty cool and always take time to chat you up. Overall this place is really solid I'll keep coming back Pros: food, happy hour, staff more

LOVE this place!!! 1/11/2007

I love Latitude! This is THE best place in Midtown to go for Happy Hour and even late night. They have like 5 different drinks for Happy Hour, the food rocks, and the music is good too. This place a little bit of everything. They also have 2 bars upstairs. 1 room has a pool table and it's free to play. My friends and I love coming here and I would reccommend Latitude to everyone looking to have a good time. Pros: food, music, happy hour more

Avoid at all costs 1/9/2007

Terrible. The drinks cost about twice as much as they should... apparently you pay for all of the ice that they fill to the top of the glass. When I asked if I could get just a splash more alcohol in my drink, the bartender (very politely) told me that he would get in trouble if he overpoured a drink by even a splash. When I later asked why the bartender seemed so curt and tired, he told me that he'd been working for 12 hours without a break. Then the food came... taste was okay, but for $11 I should get more than 3 tiny, tiny crabcakes. And $6 for a SIDE OF FRIES! The music was also terrible, all night. To top it all off, I was given the wrong credit card at the end of the night, and when I asked to see the manager I had to wait over 30 MINUTES... the bartender let me in on a little secret: the manager was too busy fighting with his girlfriend to do his job! All in all a terrible experience. Don't waste your money here. Pros: Leaving Cons: Being there more

BIG PLACE, LITTLE PEOPLE 1/8/2007

This place is huge but I'm not sure why. This place doesnt really get that crowded after happy hour or on weekends .The food is average,The staff is friendly. If you want a place that gets crowded this is not for you but if you like happy hour its good. Pros: Happy Hour Cons: The smoke clears after happy hour more

AWESOME bar, lounge, restaurant! 12/10/2006

I went to Latitude Saturday night with a bunch of my girlfriends for dinner and drinks and had a fabulous time. The food was great and reasonably priced. THe DJ played a little bit of everything.....and he came on early. The mixed drinks were strong and very good. I had a such a blast here I plan on coming back next month for my Birthday. Pros: strong drinks, food, music more

Not a NYC bar 12/9/2006

This was not a NYC bar. You are in B&T land and have mid 40's in here. It's next to the theatre district which doesn't help. Went to a bday party on a Friday, the music was terrible and very played out....summer 05 music, sweet caroline at 11pm....isn't that a 3am song....jump around. Cons: Played out music, 50 year olds getting jiggy with it more

Latitude should be lost with attitude 11/22/2006

Just had a nightmare of a night from the meathead bouncer to the service inside full of brokers thinking there somebodys.Food was poor service the same will not be going back here. Was expecting the same as there other bar social but what a difference hire some people with charm. Pros: none Cons: everything more

great after work drinks 11/20/2006

Met up with a group of my friends here and had a blast. I hear there are a bunch of floors but there were private parties going on so we were just on the main floor. Great happy hour and bar food menu. I would definitely recommend this as a spot to meet your friends midtown after work for a casual and fun time. Pros: happy hour more

a fun place, depending when 10/27/2006

this is a nice place to go to hang out with people after work, or just chill with friends, but i would skip it on the fri/sat nights. you're better off going somewhere downtown. the crowd here tends to be less trendy on the weekends. but overall its got a good ambience and nice bar tenders who are always ready to suggest a good drink. more

Good after work hang out spot.. 10/24/2006

I've been here a few time after work. Good happy hour deals. Nice laidback professional crowd. Three levels, i believe the upstairs is better for group parties or relaxing atmosphere. The food was ok average $8-12. TV's all over the place and pool tables on the upstairs floor. If you're single, you may want to check out this place :) more

Atmosphere was great, loved the music 10/5/2006

My friend and I went here yestereday and we had a blast. From the moment we walked in we were in love. We sat in a booth in the back and had mojitos and shots. We wouldn't recommend the burger or nachos at all. The waitress was friendly and the music was great. It was a little pricey so I wouldn't go very often but I would definetly go back and recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a wonderful time!!! Pros: music, friendly staff Cons: food more

AMAZING EVENT PLANNER! 9/25/2006

Latitude saved my butt! I am throwing a party and the bar I had originally booked is closing! So I had to get a place and fast, and I could not change the date due to the fact that people are flying in for the event! Sara (the amazing event planner) gave me the same great deal I had at the other bar and literally took a world of stress off my shoulders! I look forward to having my party with them and am so grateful that she was able to help me out! more
