The margaritas where like having water... Guacamole tasteless. Expensive. And the worst THE MANAGER rude, impolite, he doesn't care about the customers. Don't waste your money and time. more

I have never walked out of a restaurant before or since eating here. Lets start with the staff: Of the three staff members my party dealt with, the host was quite nice, the server was rather prickly, and the manager out-right rude. The food at Las Margaritas hardly deserves to be considered Mexican in origin. Each dish served seemed to contain copious amounts of salt and garlic tossed on greasy meat with little chili powder and cumin. Ever side seemed to be bargin canned food quality, lacking any depth of flavor or unique texture. On top of that was the most droopy and soggy lettuce this side of a McDonalds. The tortilla soup was a joke. Canned chicken-noodle with a some corn tortillas tossed in to fulfill it's name-sake. Served slightly-warm with the exquisite taste of processed canned soup. Some reviewers touted the food as ""unique"". However, this food is no different from what is found freezer Isle of an American supermarket. If you want avant garde, head into downtown with a copy of 5280, find some random dining location that has a good rating and eat there. You are more likely to impressed by the ""unique"" qualities of such an establishment rather than an faux Mexican dining experience tailored to keep uninformed moms and their kids heading back to their freezer for some chimmy-changas. Ordered a drink for $6 and was packed over the rim of the glass with ice. Told the server who cared about as much as the shark jaws letting you live that I wanted to have the drink made over and he just joked about it. The food was at best a Zero. Little meat with smaller taste and taco's that were messy as a mud bath. The burritos were made by what seemed like a small child-meaning very flat and tasteless and tiny. The manager does not care so why would you think the cooks would? Do yourself a good deed and save your money from a nothing place---You can thank me later when you meet me in a real Mexican restaurant that has better than Zero food. They charge way too much for the food anyway! Pros: I really can't think of anything but they serve water. Cons: anything Bad,food, service, price for food is ridiculous. more

This was one of my all time favorite places to go and hang out with friends and family. Since the management has changed. There seems to be a lack of quality and consideration for what customers like. This once was a place where cleanliness and extraordinary food was always served. Customers were taken care of and wanted to return again and again. Pros: Friendly workers. Cons: Change of management. more

I had a Chili Relleno Plate. It was tasty for the most part. The rellenos themselves had a little too much cheese and not enough chilie. It was wrapped in what seemed to be an egg roll wrapping which gave it an odd texture. They also didn't have enough green chilie smothered on top. The service was very fast. Overall they were good but not delicious. The prices are too expensive for the quality & portion size of the food. I would not recommend this restaurant. DO NOT EAT HERE! this place is not sanitary, AND the management is one of the worst ive ever encountered! My husband went to the bathroom, and saw the cook in the cook coming out of the stall, and to make it even more uncomfortable. he picked is nose, THEN WENT BACK TO WORK AND DIDNT WASH HIS HANDS! omg! then to top it off we said something to the owner, and he said he didnt believe it, his staff wiould never do that. I just remeber back when another restaurant spread hepititus A, due to particles of FECAL MATTER getting into the food...and 3 people DIED. My husband and I first dined at Las Margaritas about a year and a half ago and it quickly became one of our favorite restaurants. The food is different than your typical tex-mex. It tastes fresher and has a more unique/bold flavor. The margaritas are all fantastic. We love it!!! Pros: Great Atmosphere, great food more

I love this place! It is definitely a busy restaurant, so if you don't like crowded, happy places this isn't for you. Their bar is half inside and half outside, so it gives the place a lot of positive energy. The bartenders are great and can whip you up any kind of drink that you could imagine. It's definitely not corporate, so it's nice that the employees can show their own personalities while waiting on you. The food is very different and very delicious! Try the New Mexico Adobada and you'll want to come back on a weekly basis. The people who don't like this restaurant would be better suited to go somewhere boring like Jose O'Shea's to get the same old average Tex-Mex experience. The owners are wonderful! It was my first visit to Las Margaritas and I did not have a good experience. I wrote an email to the president and his response to me was ""It is pointless for me to respond to your email since you will never return or recommend my restaurant, but people like you???"" His name is Duane Bowen and he obviously does not care to have my business or anyone elses. Alright so me and my brother decided to try this place for lunch. It was around 1:30 so they weren't that busy and we were taken to our seats pretty quickly. After we were there for about 10 minutes someone finally came to our table to ask us what we wanted to drink, the drinks took another 5 minutes to get to the table and all we ordered was tea. Our food got to our table a lot quicker than the drinks and it was pretty much tossed on the table while the waiters quickly rushed off telling us to enjoy our meal. The plates were hot the food was not and it wasn't even that great. Pros: decor is nice Cons: pricey, not very friendly, food not that great, takes forever to get waited on more

Decent food, really different from any Mexican I've ever had. Trying really really hard to be trendy and unique. Nothing is simple or basic, it is all dressed up with something kindof different - a cheese sauce here or an oddly flavored red sauce there, many colors, many flavors all mixed together. It's interesting, but picky people might have issues. There is way better mexican out there. The salsas are really tasty, though. Food will come in a reasonable amount of time, wait won't be horrible - though I've never been there on a Friday or Saturday night. Every time we go to Las Margaritas the place is packed in an uncomfortable way. I like the food, though I feel it is overpriced for simple Mexican food, but it is almost unbearable to dine there. It's not romantic, quiet, spacious or welcoming. All the waiters are in a rush to tend to their tables, so they come off as merely civil. Their hurried manor makes me feel like I am being pushed forward in the meal as well, as if they are timing me to eat. This is further compounded by the lack of a waiting area, so new customers are watching you eat, glancing at what stage you are at in the meal to try to estimate their own wait time; they do this in the only place to stand (no waiting area), which is directly in front of the main entrance. The last time we went there, this weekend, we ended up being so uncomfortable due to all of the reasons I stated above, that we asked for our food 'to go' and cut our dine in time in half. I told my husband that I never want to go there again. This review is polite compared to the way I felt after several date nights being ruined. Las Marg's is your non corporate restaurant bar located in Belmar. Great food and a wonderful staff. I love that they serve good food until 1am everynight and there is a 2-1 happy hour everynight :). The outdoor bar to the patio is my favorite feature. Everthing I have tried has been outstanding. Best free chips and salsa in Denver. more

Belmar has some of my favorite Lakewood restaurants but the new Las Margaritas in Belmar is the bomb. The outdoor bar is the place to be for happy hour and the weekend brunch menu is delicious. (Try the brunchiladas) The day bartender Louie makes a really good mojito from scratch or ask for his signiture drink ""vodka yummy goodness"". I love the California Quesadilla with shrimp, everything I have had is great. Great free chips and salsa. They serve food until 1 am and its good food. Great late night happy hour 2 for 1, 10pm to close. Nice people!! Pros: Happy Hour, Great Patio with outside bar more
