Yes, the margarita is choice...what made me jump was a conversation while I played sit and sip at the bar. Out of the blue a youngish friendly approaches me. He was cordial and inquisitive, which in unchecked spurts can really irritate me. But it didn?t this time, and I?m glad because had I cut the conversation short I would have missed the best part. \r

In the subtlest of ways and towards the end of our conversation I noted the interesting music, to which he responds gleefully. Remember, I brought it up, not him. It was not until then that he said DJ Premier as being responsible for running the list. At that point, I asked of him to repeat himself, thinking I misheard or was too tired from the day. \r

Yup. To my surprise and thrill, I heard correct. \r

As an aside, I admit the beats were eclectic but they also had a working familiarity that rationalized and grounded them. And I don't brag much but will confidently assert my hip-hop prowess and musical knowledge that spans the better half of the 70s up through today. \r

Anyway, you never can be sure what the case is, but this guy (owner as I learned), seemed honest enough and I left believing it to be the case. I also think the manner in which he came out with it was not consistent with those words of true serial-name droppers. \r

If you don?t believe me, there?s not much more I can do. I?m just posting this because I thought it worth someone?s while aside from my own. And if it turns out differently, I did make sure to mention first and foremost that the margaritas are choice.\r
