I have lived across the street from Larry and Jeff's for about 8 years but only stepped into the store as a serious customer a couple of weeks ago. In the past, I was induced to go to Toga because an enthusiast friend worked there (he was an analyst, but worked weekends there because he liked hanging out with his biking buddies).
In any case, I took my twin 4-year-old daughters there. The staff were excellent in handling our questions, and were quite accommodating of having my girls doing racing loops with toddler bikes through their store. The salesman I worked with was totally low-key, appearing most interested in helping me out finding the right products for me and the girls, and seemingly unconcerned about cashing a sale.
The store has a great selection of tricycles, toddler to children bikes, as well as a full range of city, mountain, and street racing bikes. I plan on doing my future bicycle purchases through them, as their combination of friendly attitude, typical professional knowledge (most bike stores seem to employ only active cyclists), wide range of products, and close proximity make them a no-brainer.
I have to admit that Toga is also a nice choice, but rather hard to get to given it's location...
