My friend and I had dinner at Lark Creek last night, and found everything delicious. From the flakey buttery biscuits to the sweet and salty dessert, everything was tasty. We had the foie gras and almost died in bliss...the foie portion was huge, two big slices, and the brioche bread pudding with pear were excellent with it. We decided that it was the best foie gras we'd ever had. Our filets were done just right, medium rare - melt-in-your mouth yummy. The sauces were all very good, especially the bleu cheese sauce which was like pure bleu cheese puree heaven. Our sides were also very tasty - I had the creamed spinach and potato pancakes. The chef is a master of sauces, and being the condiment queen that I am, I enjoyed all the different dipping flavors. Although, the filet would have been just fine without any sauce at all. We had no space left, but still managed to share the ""milkshake"" dessert - not quite a brulee, very light flavors, and the salted caramel on top still has me craving another bite this morning - sweet and salty, yum! The staff was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. I will definitely come back.
