Salesman Dale Markel and his installation team did a great job of moving furniture, removing old carpet, leveling the entire surface area, getting new wood floors installed, and furniture replaced in less than one day--no mess left behind. We will use them for another floor project--no doubt about it! more

We could not be happier with our Lander's experience. Dale was exceptional in his knowledge of wood flooring and led us in the right direction for our needs...... not pushy at all, but very helpful. We were impressed that he came to our home on the day of installation to make sure that the installers knew exactly our preference of how we wanted the floor laid and molding installed. The follow-up phone call 2 days later was appreciated......very customer oriented. The installation crew worked like a well oiled machine and did a great job accommodating all the specifics that we had requested. Without being asked, they saw the package of felt floor protectors I had purchased and stuck them to the bottom of every piece of furniture before returning it to the room. That was a job I was not looking forward to, as there were at least 200 needed! Our Lander's experience was very positive from selection to installation. We love our new wood floor, just wish we had gotten rid of our old carpet years before!! more

We have used Lander's for 2 separate projects a year apart and we could not be happier! After shopping around at various competitors Lander"s won hands down, not only for the prices but for the great customer service we got from Cristen. (She even remembered our names a year later) she is amazing! Her knowledge of products and design and her patience ( I am not the most decisive person) is off the charts. She knows what looks good and what doesn't and won't sell you on something just to sell it. she honestly wants you to be happy. We bought beautiful wood floors and had carpeting installed and I only have wonderful things to say about the installers. They showed up exactly on time, moved all furniture very carefully and did beautiful jobs all without making any kind of mess. Their work was really good! Christen also walked us through the whole process and kept us in the loop of what was happening next. We had never experienced that before, usually we would be the ones calling to find out any status and never get return phone calls and other places. Needless to say we are huge fans of Lander's AND they have a whole children's playroom with tv monitors viewing the kids playing that you can see from all different places in the showroom. I have worked with Lander's flooring on several jobs. They are knowledgeable about their products and are customer oriented. When they schedule they show up and keep you informed if there are any delays. If for some reason a problem does arise they work hard to rectify the situation so my clients are happy. There are not many companies around that take the same time and extra care or have their exceptional service. Their pricing is competitive and they handle themselves in a very professional and friendly manner. They have a great selection of products and have a good relation with their installers and distributors. Excellent company to work with. more

John went above and beyond in helping us get our defective floor replaced! The original installer was unresponsive and did absolutely nothing to help us with a defective wood floor. John stepped in and got the manufacturer to replace the floor for us! Believe me, this took a lot of work! His team was incredible! They were efficient, courteous, and superbly skilled at the process of replacing a wood floor. The job was done in two days. They moved the furniture, made sure everything was protected from the dust and moved everything back where it belonged when they were done. The floor is beautiful! Actually, the seams and curves were done much better than with the original floor. True professionals and masters of their trade, nice to deal with 100% of the way. I wouldn't want anyone else to work on my floors other than Landers Premier Flooring. more

We purchased tile and carpet with installation from Landers Premier Flooring. Our experience was excellent. The Quality, price and customer service were amazing. We put tile in our entire first floor, and I was a bit anxious to say the least, but Landers made it an easy experience, taking into account that we have a busy family. We cannot say enough about the beautiful carpet and natural stone tile. Everyone comments on how beautiful it is and they did such a great job. We will be repeat customers if we ever need more flooring, and we will certainly highly recommend them to everyone! more

I finally found the tile I was looking for after spending 15 minutes at Landers. Was ready for install immediately. Landers obviously didn't want the job. They were over $2000 ($7 sq/ft) higher than the other estimates. I did some quick research online, found the lowest price for the tile found at Landers. Took the online price to another shop who matched and recommended a good installer. It pays to do your research (and skip Landers!). more

We are DIYers and have been remodeling our house for quite some time. By the time we got to the flooring we were tired. We figured we could handle a wood flooring install. But installing tile in the bathrooms and laundry room didn't sound like fun for us. We shopped around online for services and products before we finally set out in the car. Landers just happened to be our last stop of the day. We got there at 10 minutes to closing but the friendly staff did not seem at all rushed. Cristen patiently listened to what we had been doing and what we wanted to do. As we did from other stores, we took home a few samples. We got bids from Cristen and another store. Cristen did not pressure us to buy but she wanted to make sure we had all of the tools necessary to make a good decision about our flooring. The competitor just gave us a quote and bid us a nice day. He was friendly but he seemed as if he really didn't care if he got our business. Needless to say, we decided to buy our wood flooring from Cristen! When we came by the store to drop off payment I decided to just look at the tile offerings for those bathrooms. Cristen jumped right up, grabbed the wood floor sample of what we ordered, grabbed a tile sample and put them on the floor together for our review. It was just what we wanted. We grabbed some lighter and darker tiles but the first selection was the one! The pricing was right and Cristen had made another sale. The staff that came to our home to (a) measure (b) make the floor ready and (c) install the tile were punctual and professional. Nothing was broken and they cleaned up after themselves so that you would never know they had been there! I love my floors and I will tell anyone that asks me to go see Cristen at Landers Premier Flooring! more

Due to some water damage, we had a complete kitchen overhaul and contacted Landers to help us with floor tile and backsplash. The staff were very responsive and called back very quickly. I communicated mostly with Stephanie who was extremely helpful with both picking out products that I LOVE and with questions about installation and timing. She spent time with me to make sure that even the grout color I picked looked best with the floor tile and even with the backsplash! I couldn't be happier with how it all now looks. I couldn't imagine using anyone else - Landers gives the best service and has the best selection!! Don't waste your time going to any other flooring store - go to Landers' showroom and get it all done beautifully. more

We had been wanting to get solid wood flooring for our master and closet for sometime and just could not decide on the material and installer. When we discovered strand woven bamboo flooring we knew what we wanted. We contacted Cristen Finnell at Landers and received a very timely response. We were in a rush to get it done before the holidays and explained this up front. Cristen double checked inventory to be sure that they had it in stock before making a commitment. I first spoke to Cristen on Monday and the floor was in place on Friday! Cristen was responsive and professional and the installers were friendly, timely and installed our floor in a very quality fashion. We feel like we got a great value for our money! This was our first experience with a flooring store. We needed to replace some ceramic tile in our entryway. My husband spoke to Grant on the phone and we went into the showroom. The showroom is gorgeous and has all the samples you could dream of. Plus - there's a playroom that kept out 7 year old occupied while we shopped. Grant had several great ideas and was able to help us narrow down the multiple options once he got to our home and had measured and looked at the space. We ended up with a beautiful Travertine entryway that looks like it could be in one of the more expensive homes in Austin - yet still fits nicely in our traditional 2-story. We felt the price was reasonable and Grant helped us anticipate the cost accurately. What really makes Landers stand out is their 1st rate service. That and my gorgeous new floor! more

We would recommend doing business with Lander’s Premier Flooring without reservation. We recently purchased and had installed approximately 250 sq ft of tile and 2,100 sq ft of wood flooring. Our sales rep, Tom Fischer, was a pleasure to work with. Tom has extensive knowledge of the industry and floor products. He was pleasant to deal with and helpful in putting our plans together. After the sales contract was signed, Tom followed up routinely to inform us of installation schedules and to seek feedback on our satisfaction. In our experience with the home remodel industry this attention to customer satisfaction is unusual. The installation crews were great. They always showed up as scheduled and worked professionally throughout the day. Buying great materials is only the first step. The quality of the installers work is critical to getting the floors to look great. We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the installation. We were amazed at the attention to detail and thorough clean up after each days work. We never felt like we were left with a mess. On the final day of the work, our house looked like a new model showroom. more

Cristen Finnell at Landers Premier Flooring is all I really need to say! I came into the store on a Saturday and the place was packed, that “Buzz” was just the first in many good feelings I have had since I started my project. The installers were awesome and totally knew what I needed to make me feel comfortable during such a stressful remodel. I came into the store boggled about what to do with my master bathroom, I had a leak in my shower and the tile was falling off the walls. I had no clue about tile, let alone design…it’s all the same to me. Cristen asked me the oddest questions and I was starting to lose focus and then Bam! She started laying out these different size tiles and this “Border” and then got a piece of paper and was drawing a design. I didn’t have the vision of what she was doing, but it looked interesting. The colors seemed to tie together with my countertops and my cabinets but I was still not sure. I had planned on shopping around that Saturday, so I stayed true to my plan. I went to a few more places. People looked at me like I was crazy when I said I needed help doing my bathroom, and no one took the time to ask me the " questions”. I now realize all along Cristen was creating the perfect design for my space. My bathroom is done now, and I LOVE IT! Cristen said trust me, it will be “stunning”. It is. Why would you want to go anywhere else? Let me tell you about my first experience with another provider - I had to match my tiles on the ground floor with an area that had carpet but I wanted to replace with tiles or second choice HW Floors - the other provider came back saying that the matching Tile was out of stock and that we should just put HW floors there instead. Cristen helped locate the exact tile and did the right thing for us (The customer). Cristen helped us with various options for HW FLoors for our rooms and the carpet for the stairs and patiently helped us make the decision, always keeping us within our budget. Cristen has the best crews working for her, the HW Floor guys were phenomenal, extremely hard working, fun, and kept the workplace clean. The Carpet and Tile guys were equally efficient and completed their jobs as planned and on schedule. Here is the best part of the experience, there was one manufacturing defect in a HW Floor piece that I pointed out after the job was done, and they came back and replaced it immediately in less than 20 minutes. We went to Landers knowing we wanted something new for the flooring in our kitchen and guest bathroom...we just weren't sure what that was. Cristen was very helpful in guiding us through the process of choosing the perfect tile for us. She is very professional and has a great eye for design. The crews who installed the tile and the wood trim were top-notch. I still can't get over what a great job they did. They were all very courteous and kept work areas as clean as possible. We won't go anywhere else! more

Recently built a home from out of town. Our builder recommended Landers Premier flooring. I called and made an appointment with Stephanie Landers. Since our first visit Stephanie understood my needs and was extremely helpful. She was great communicating with me since I wasn't in Austin. In my bulding budget I had the option to use a designer but ended up not needing a designer. Stephanie had great ideas! I had a specific slate tile I wanted and Stephanie not only found it but went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Everything turned out beautiful ( just as I envisoned it) and their installers were great too! Can't say enough about them! We recently had Landers install hardwood floors and carpet in our home, and throughout the entire process we have had ZERO complaints. As first-time home buyers we were overwhelmed with all the choices of hardwood floors. Thankfully we had Dale helping us and we could not be happier with our choice. Dale is professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about hardwood flooring, he made the whole experience easy. The installation process was great as well.
