Good but overpriced 4/5/2006

The food here is good but this place is overpriced. Be careful if you get drinks and multiple tapas here, the price really adds up. Overall everything I’ve had here is great but for the price it is hard for me to come back often. It has a nice location near the Claredon metro. more

Latasca 3/22/2006

La Tasca, in my opinion, is the best small plate (tapas) in the area. This is starting to become a hang out after hours so it is more about just the food for some people. I prefer coming here for dinner. This place can get expensive but the food is all great. more

tapas in clarendon 10/13/2005

La Tasca is a block away from the clarendon metro. It’s always busy, and I always wonder why-- I suppose the ambience is cool, and there’s a lot of young folks in clarendon nowadays. However, I think the food is overrated and on the expensive side. Then again, this is tapas… though I would recommend Jaleo over La Tasca any day. more

I don’t know what it is with me. I’m sure that this is a great place. I mean the atmosphere is cool, the bar is cool, even the people hanging out here seemed cool. I just wasn’t impressed with the food. But that’s just me. Maybe I should give up on tapas all together. After all if I didn’t like this place, which is an authentic Spanish restaurant, maybe tapas just aren’t for me. However, if you enjoy real paella and strong sangria. you’ll like La Tasca. My husband did. more
