I have been to La Oveja Negra several times before on Saturday nites and although its not the nicest place..the music was good for Spanish Rock lovers.\r

I decided to throw my boyfriends birthday party here..and the service was HORRIBLE!!! First off they didn't want to take the Cover Charge off eventhough i was gurantting them 40 people and buying bottles!!\r
i showed up early to decorate the day of and no one was there to let me in..i called Pepy this rude middle-aged Argentiniean guy that i had met with before and was supposedly handling my party..he Forgot!! finally i get in the room and its DIRTY they didn't want to move the 60 stacked chairs in the corners..there was broken glass on the floor, tables and glass against the wall..just a mess.\r

Finally i move to the upper level..i purchase 2 overpriced bottles and they don't take CREDIT CARDS!!! (which they day i met with them i made sure to ask if they did..and i was told YES). So now i had to go to an ATM and shell out $320..and then the bartender with the long black hair has the nerve to charge me for the JUICE!!! wich is always FREE when you buy bottles..and her excuse was b/c i didn't tip her enough for carrying a bottle to my table!! meanwhile no one ever came to check on us..not once..we had no table service..i NEVER even received my Complimentary bottles of champagne. \r

Worst experience ever!!! don't ever throw a party there!!!!
Pros: decent music..although it used to be better
Cons: service..no credit card machine!!
