Phenominal Experience THANKS!!!!!! 3/12/2009

Surprise! Surprise!!, I had a Amazing Experience. The Girl who help me was so Nice. I was there 2 days ago, and I wanted a red bag, but I fell in LOVE with a gray blue tote. And I just could not make up my mind !!! All those colors on that wall its intoxicating. She came over and asked me all those questions like is it for school or work or for everyday. After I answered them as Best as I could she spoke about both bag styles. She gave me the Pros and Cons of a City Girl with an Non Zippered Tote or A Zippered One, I loved the scenerios she used. I was there for almost an HOUR and she waited helping me to find not only the best color but the best style. I lost track of time because I felt like I was Talking to a Friend more than I was Talking to a Sales Rep. She even told me the translation to my favorite bag it means ""To Fold"" I got her card, and I bought both bags. I was More Than Satisfied with there EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!! Pros: PATIENT sales reps Cons: I haven't found one... more

Shocking service on 3 separate visits!! 1/30/2009

I work in luxury retail myself so I know what the basic level of service should be and this store is far below that. I was given an expensive leather bag from this store and after 1 month of using it only a few times the leather had already started to fray. They agreed to let me exchange it for something else but again after only using it a few times the new bag also started fraying. I went back to see if they could repair it and initially they said I would have to pay for the repair. They sold me a faulty bag twice and then wanted me to pay for the repairs!! The salespeople were exceptionally rude and did not even apologize for the inconvenience of having to go back to the store so many times to get their faulty merchandise fixed. After they fixed the leather, then the handle broke off (I kid you not, it is amazing they think they can get away with charging $400 for this merchandise). I went back a third time and they said they would put a ""rush"" on fixing it and it should only take 2 weeks maximum. I waited 1 month without hearing anything and then when I called to check on the bag the salesperson said ""I don't know what's happened to your bag, You'll have to call back tomorrow when the repairs person is here."" I asked if there was anyone in the store who may know what had happened to the bag but this woman was clearly just intersted in getting me off the phone. She put me on hold for a long time and eventually said ""I can take your name and another staff member will 'try' to call you back"". I was quite angry by this point and said she would have to do better then just 'try' to call me when I've been waiting over 1 month for something they said would take 2 weeks. She said ""well we have a long list of people to call"" - no wonder!! Since your bags and service are both terrible you clearly have so many people waiting to hear back. My advice is spend the extra money and go to Ferragamo instead - at least the bags are durable and they treat you like human beings. Cons: Customer service, product quality more
