I recently here from Denver and I've been searching for a ""real"" Mexican restaurant. I have finally found it in La Esperanza, this is not some cookie-cutter chain or tex-mex. My fiance is a picky eater and I have expectations of authenticity when I go out for any type of ethnic food, needless to say, we were both satisfied with our visit. I can't wait to go back and try everything they have to offer and I'll definately reccommend this place to my friends and family! Pros: Knowledgable staff Cons: small parking lot more

Authentic Mexican cuisine 9/18/2007

I would recommend this restaurant if you're a fan of authentic Mexican food. You will certainly get that here, and the meals are freshly prepared. Having traveled to Mexico, I can tell you this is closer to the real thing than what you get at a chain restaurant like Don Pablo's. The staff is actually Mexican and they are welcoming of their guests. The restaurant is decorated with colored lights and has a fiesta-like atmosphere that exudes a somewhat lively ambiance. The cost is reasonable; you'll probably pay a little less than if you went to Don Pablo's. more
