My feedback concerns the 2nd location that recently opened on Del Monte Drive, replacing the Don Camillo restaurant. \r

My husband and I used to go quite frequently to the Don Camillo restaurant and really enjoyed it. We went there many times with our baby, who has always slept in his stroller while we were having dinner. We are well aware that this restaurant is a quiet place and not once did our baby bother anyone by making noise. Because we liked Don Camillo so much and that it has recently changed owners, we were looking forward to trying La Brocante Cafe. \r

I guess it will never happen because the employee was RUDE with me on the phone when I called to make a reservation! We spoke in French which makes me wonder if he wasn't the owner himself. When I mentioned that we were 2 adults with a baby, he asked ""Will the baby be loud and make noise? Please understand that this is a quiet place and the other customers don't want to be disturbed"". \r

I felt deeply uncomfortable, without having even stepped in the restaurant yet, we were already considered a potential nuisance, irresponsible parents who can't handle our baby and don't respect others' peace! Needless to say I felt insulted and I found the employee extremely non professional. I do understand the restaurant's point of view but when I pay to have dinner somewhere, I like to feel welcomed, not tolerated!! \r

It's a shame because we were good customers' of Don Camillo. But La Brocante Cafe made it clear that young kids are NOT welcomed.
