We have always lived in far northwest Austin, and have made the drive to Dr. Raymond since our son was a baby. He will be 8 next month, and is full of questions! lol We just got back from our visit today, and he did great! They are very patient with him and ALL of his questions... As a mom, I love how Dr. Raymond answers any questions you have and explains things very thoroughly! We don't have dental insurance and we aren't wealthy so I have checked other prices. A pediatric dentist closer to my house is almost $100 more! I would not take my son anywhere else, and recommend Dr. Raymond to all of my friends for their kids. It's not only because he's a Longhorn, he is just really that good. Keep up all the great work Dr. Raymond! You are the BEST!!! more

All the personal was very nice to us. Unlike the previous post nobody was rude, everything was explained to us prior the started procedures. Pros: Really good place. They treat kids very well. Cons: Can't perform some complicated procedures more

My daughter had to have teeth extracted. The first visit, consultation, was fine. The day of the extraction, she was given local anesthetics. She received several shots in her mouth to numb the area. He went to pull the tooth on the right side and my daughter still felt pain. He stopped but seemed to get impatient with her. He waited a bit for the medicine to take affect but when he gave her more, she still felt the shot in places she should have been numb. He continued to talk to her but still sounded very impatient and annoyed with her. He got one tooth out but my daughter felt it. Told him I would take her to see an oral surgeon for the rest. After we left my daughter noticed her right side of her nose was numb, not the right side of her mouth. She could wiggle the left side of her nose but not the right side. His impatience and him sounding annoyed with my daughter was upsetting to her, along with the pain she had to feel when he pulled out her tooth. I was very disappointed with the service. His staff in the office is very nice. He should take some lessons. Pros: The support staff is nice Cons: Dr. sounds very impatient and seems to get annoyed easily when things don't go right more

After being a patient of Dr Raymond's for 4 years and not needing anything beyond the routine quickie check-up and x-rays, the day came we needed a small procedure for my 7 year old. Dr. Raymond did not explain anything to us, walked in the door behind my daughter and started to put a mask on her face - she didn't even know he was there. When she sprang up from the table in surprise, he told her "if she didn't want his help then there is the door". He continued to be rude to both her and I the entire time we were there. Needless to say, we will never go back. more
