Worst

Altered simple evening gown & made the empire waist way too short - there wasn't enough fabric to fix the error so empire cut across bust line. Cost $130!

Both my husband and I have been going to Krystyna's for years. She really is a miracle worker. Just recently I bought a maid of honor dress from Pricilla of Boston, their alterations department completely ruined my dress, with two days before the wedding, Krystyna did her magic and now my dress is perfect! She is super sweet and really knows the art of alterations. I'd never trust ANYONE with my clothes but Krystyna :) more

The BEST!!! 6/5/2011

I have been to Krystyna's for years for all kinds of alterations. I don't trust anyone but her and the staff at her shop. I live about 30 minutes away now, and there are a few tailors within 5 minutes of me, but I won't take my clothes anywhere else. Beyond trust and every experience being perfect, she makes every customer feel welcomed and important. She is a touch of class herself. I have used several tailors in the past, but I simply won't go anywhere else anymore...and I haven't for years now. -- Clay more

Excellent tailor, easily affordable, convenient! 1/30/2011

I trust Krystina with the clothes I bring in for tailoring. She has experience and professional service. What's even better is she is a kind hearted person that makes going in her shop very inviting :) She is prompt, respectful and has fair prices for the excellent work she delivers. I refer all my family and friends to her for her excellent work. I have had business suit pants altered by her and she has done them perfectly every time, even matching the original stitching on the pants. She's the best in town! more

AWESOME! 10/11/2010

I just got home from picking up a dress from Krystyna's and I really can not say enough... I went to Krystyna after I had gotten ripped off by a lady who ordered me a bridesmaids dress 3 sizes bigger than I am(and then told me it was my fault she ordered it). Krystyna basically had to remake the entire dress and it turned out beautiful! I have never been to a tailor as professional, friendly, and talented as Krystyna's! Thank you SO much for your help...I will be back! more

Will Definitely Use Again 3/22/2010

I ordered two pairs of very expensive jeans from a catalog, but unfortunately they were too long and big in the waist. I brought my jeans to Kystyna and for $14 waist and $15 hem my jeans fit me perfectly. Great work! You can't even tell where the alteration was done. more

Krystyna saved my jacket 1/21/2010

An expensive length of Japanese pure silk fabric was ruined by another tailor who attempted to make a jacket. I brought the disaster straight to Krystyna who not only remade the jacket but rushed the order through in one day in time for my 90th birthday party. We are very lucky to have a tailor like Krystyna in Cary. Pros: Best taylor in town more

If you want a clothing article tailored and you want it done with the utmost care and precision, go to Krystyna! She is most accommodating and will gladly go to great lengths to be sure that the adjustmenbts that you request are done properly and to your satisfaction. Her warm smile and gentle nature are most welcoming as you enter the shop. It is most obvious that she will do everything humanly possible to be sure that you are satisfied. I am one of many pleased customers who wouldn't think of going anywhere else for alterations than Kyrstyna! There is a reason why she has had this thriving business for over 20 years. Satisfied customers are happy to spread the news when they find someone who is finely skilled at their profession and thus is the case with Krystyna. How wonderful to have such a great tailor shop in Cary! Pros: high-quality work at a very fair price Cons: NONE! more

Will definitely use again! 12/1/2009

I brought her a picture I found on the internet of my wedding dress with a bustle done by another seamstress. I had taken the dress to another seamstress down the road who said it was impossible to mimic the photo. Krystyna had the dress pinned and bustled in under 15 seconds exactly like the photo. Turns out the bustle is great in photos, not so practical at the reception, so we bustled it another way. Also had to take in the bust and waist, and she was able to preserve the intricate beading on the bodice. Taking my flower girl there now for her alterations too (my dress comes in matching ""mini maid"" sizes) since Krystyna is already familiar with the style. Best Tailor Shop in the Triangle! 1/21/2009

I moved out here in 2003 from NYC and have been going to Krystyna's ever since. Trust me. They are the absolute, without a doubt, best tailors out here! Don't be a fool and go to cheap tailor shops in the mall! If you care about your clothing you will go nowhere else. Everyone in my family and a lot of my friends go here. Krystyna's will tell you exactly what needs to be done to get the best fit and trust their judgement! They'll make costumes, clothes for your dogs, etc. I've seen people bring in just about everything. Very impressed! Plus, they are the sweetest, most friendly ladies. All-in-all good people so please don't be rude to them because if I'm in the shop you'll get an earful from devoted customers like me! Pros: quality, craftmanship, knowledgeable, endearing more

Best tailor shop I've ever used 4/17/2008

I am usually fairly picky about alterations, and Krystyna is the best tailor I have ever used anywhere. She does a fantastic job, the prices are reasonable, and the turnaround time is generally pretty quick. She has altered a bridesmaid dress for me and countless other items, including jackets, suits, skirts, and hems. I would never go anywhere else! more

Personalized and attentive professional. We have used Krystyna's in Cary for many years, have tried several other tailors and have found none better. Pricing is fair and professional. No credit cards (keeps prices lower). Convenient location. Pros: professional tailor, hard to find Cons: not open 24x7 more

Great work!!! Quick, Helpful, and Honest 7/19/2006

I've used Krystyna's shop for several years. She's done several alterations for various members of my family. She has always been very helpful. I highly recommend her. I mention honesty as she's always told me what she could fix and what could no longer be repaired. That saved me time and money... trying to fix items that needed to be discarded. Pros: Great professional work! Very quick and high value service! Cons: store hours are 10 - 5 during the week, makes it hard to get there if you work outside of Cary. more
