Have gone here for years. There's simply not a better bakery anywhere around the Beaver Valley/Butler County area. These pastry chefs are trained in Paris and then come to the little town of Beaver to share all their secrets with us. They have wonderful bread, fabulous cakes and cookies - simply any kind of baked good you could want. They make beautiful wedding cakes too. On Saturday mornings get ready to pull a number and stand out on the sidewalk to wait your turn. Everyone around knows about this place! more

What a delicious place this bakery is! They have the most delicious whipped cream cakes and other baked goods. They are moist and the icing is light and fluffy. You can call and have a cake customized for any occasion. The baked goods are not cheap, but they are not excessive in price either. The next time your sweet tooth cries for attention, visit Kretchmar's! more
