We're new to the Dallas area and I have been craving a gyro. So we did a search, wanting to avoid high end expensive and found this little restaurant in a strip center in Plano. We didn't find the ""joint"" we were looking for but we did find good basic Greek food. We had an appetizer of Dolmas which were the best we've ever had served warm. We are normally a fan of them cold. I had the Avgolemono soup with my gyro plate and was not disappointed. I was surprised to find the plate came with two side vegies of lemon flavored boiled potatoes and Italian cut green beans. The tzatziki sauce was thick and spreadable, the gyro meat seasoned perfectly and the pita warm and toasty. My fiance had the Greek combo plate and ate every bite! The spanakopita was served as cut from a casserole rather than individually made servings, this made for lest phillo crunchiness but the flavor was still as good. With one glass of wine and tea to drink our meals together totaled about $40 not counting tip. The atmosphere was pleasant, the waitstaff attentive and polite. My fiance's only complaint was in not finding Pastitsio on the menu. I think we will be going back! I definitely recommend it.
Pros: Good basic Greek choices, prepared well. Clean. Friendly staff. No waiting.
Cons: No Pastitsio.
