Missouri Football Bowl Game 12/31/2006

I am thoroughly disgusted with channel 10. This is the only station in our area that this game can be seen on and you have chosen to show the private moments of Gerald Ford's funeral. A place you are not even allowed to go into so you are taping through a window! Leave the widow alone at this time and allow the family the private time. Let the football fans at least enjoy this game! GET ON WITH THE GAME! more

Sun Bowl & the private Ford family prayer ceremony 12/29/2006

I am thoroughly dismayed and disgusted by the decision of this station to pre-empt the Sun Bowl with the private Ford family prayer ceremony. The Ford family had asked for this prayer ceremony to be a private function and that cameras not record this event. There will be appropriate times in the next few days to publicly honor President Ford. Moreover, the Mizzou Tigers were playing in the Sun Bowl this year. This is a disservice to the fans and alumni when they were pre-empted. Other local channels, such as KY3 and KSFX, did not pre-empt their regularly scheduled soap opera and talk show programs for the ceremony. They followed the requests of the Ford family. A Terrible Reminder 12/29/2006

Once again, I have been reminded why CBS nationally and Channel 10 locally is the nanzy-panzy seconded rated commercial network that is and always will be chasing NBC and ABC. Missouri's Tigers make the Sun Bowl and while watching them, CBS cuts in on the PRIVATE ceremony of a former president. Six days of funeral coverage for this ex-president and CBS has to stick its nose in on a private ceremony, cuts away for the bowlgame that feature the State's team, and then gives us an update on Saddam Hussein's situation. You guys are total losers who don't have a clue! more
