too bad they changed the menu 6/2/2005

I've eaten at Kohnami many times, in spite of the extremely poor service (the servers seem spaced out and confused) and the freezing indoor temperatures in the winter because the food was good. They've changed their menu recently, though, and it wasn't a good change. I don't bother going there any more. Pros: outdoor dining Cons: service, menu change more

Awesome 2/25/2005

I've grown up eating Japanese. I've moved from Alaska where the Japanese was great. I have seached Santa Fe for great Japanese restaurants. Izmi sushi was okay, but I greatly favor Kohnami. It's a nice, down to earth place, with great food. I still have a few places to try, but Kohnami is the best yet, I give it a 9 out of 10 on the account the appatizer beef was a little dry. Pros: Great Japanese, Nice Feel Inside, Good People Cons: Waiter was too busy, apatizer was dry more
