Koby is an Artist! 5/23/2007

If you want a new look, definitely go to Koby! He knows what cut will look best with the texture of your hair and shape of your face. His haircuts are edgy - different, which I love. Whenever I visit, I just tell him to cut my hair whichever way he thinks would look best, and I am always so happy with the results. Last time he gave me a totally new cut and I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. Thanks Koby! Pros: Koby is outgoing and fun! more

Great experience - my best hair cut in the city! 5/23/2007

Koby is without a doubt the best hair stylist I have been to in the city. Not only is he a master at his art, but his ""bedside"" manner, makes any visit an experience rather than simply a haircut. I went for the first time the afternoon of my birthday, before a big party. I was treated to wine, music, great conversation & over an hour-and-a-half of precision hair styling. Normally I just get a 2 inch trim & never change my style, but I felt so confident in Koby that I told him to ""do what he thought would look great."" I left there with a whole new look - much more stylish then I'd ever been before. And I felt like a million bucks. I truly look forward to my bi-monthly visits to Koby... relax and enjoy 5/22/2007

I moved from Boston to the city and needed a new hair stylist. Finding a new hair stylist is always hard task, you always fear that they are going to mess up. When I arrived to the place, I saw the hair of the previous customer and I knew right away that he would do a great job. Koby is very generous and kind person. Koby works wonders with my hair, I ALWAYS get compliments!! He always ""has an idea"" that works with my hair - it's naturally heavy & straight. He keeps in mind the most important details with my cut & color: low maintenance, lifestyle, versatility, like and don't like, and gives it a good ""edge"" while somehow keeping it natural. I always leave him with a great look(you don't need to worry about having to wait a couple of weeks until your hair style ""grows in"") and it grows out so well, so - whether it's the day after a cut or even weeks/months later - it just looks great and the compliments keep coming. Great Haitstylist!!! 5/8/2007

Koby is amazing! You can just come to him and say that you want something new and he will make you a terrific cut. After he cut and colored my hair, everyone around notices and compliments my new style. And I asolutely love it since it looks great and requires much less work every day than I thought a good cut would. Koby is also totally open to your suggestions and sees what's posible for your hair. I liked my boyfriend's hair long while he wanted it short - Koby gave him a cut that we both love by making a compromise between the two and eliminating what we didn't like in both options. Hair Salon-Greatest cut 5/8/2007

Koby is a complete professional. I have my color and cut done by him and the result is superb. The color is the best I have had in years and the cut is terrific. I have received many compliments on the cut from people who would not normally notice a new haircut. The color is subtle yet really lovely. He listens to what you want and yet can suggest a new style that you may not have thought of. He is charming, intelligent and really competent. I have been a client of Koby for approximately a year now. He has been able to give my hair the look I always wanted which other hairstylist could not achieve (i.e., with my fine, pin straight hair he was able to create a beautiful sweep on the front of my face). I have been a client of Koby's for a handful of years now and to be very honest as anyone should when writing these types of reviews, I always will be. I simply do not trust anyone else to touch my hair much less take scissors to it. Many of the other persons who have left reviews can agree with me that Koby just knows what he is doing. It is as if he has it in his mind what will make you look absolutely amazing, he listens, he tells you if it will honestly work, and always assures that his clients are thrilled with our cuts, color, etc. It's like this gift, he just can't stop.\r \r Koby has traveled the world and he brings all of these elements to his newfound independant space at Serenity. Never pushy, never overbearing, always a true darling. BEST HAIRCUT AND COLOR EVER!!!!!!!! 2/5/2007

I have known Koby for a while. He has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 6 years now! He is and will ALWAYS be the only person I trust to touch my hair. He is innovative and stylish in his technique. Koby knows the texture of my hair and what haircut fits my style and personality. Two things I truly love about my haircut is that it looks great when I walk out of the salon and most importantly as time goes on and my hair grows, the cut/style continues to looks fantastic! Koby is very easy to talk with and is open to suggestions, although with his unique ideas I rarely ever give any! I read somewhere that the first thing people notice is your haircut and color. Cut and color that lasts...and lasts... 2/1/2007

I haven't seen Koby for a cut since early APRIL...and it is the middle of June now! My hair still looks great. His cut always grows out perfectly. My color hasn't been touched since February...and I still get compliments on it. He is THAT GOOD. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment! more

I gut my hair done with koby few days ago,after a recomendation from a friend,and let me tell you, that was a good desicion that I made,he just have that extra thing,a signature to his haircut and color. I gut so many complements,everywhere like on the train, at work and while walking around the city. I've been a faithful client of Koby?s for 5 years now and only one word comes to mind when talking about Koby, GENIUS. He's a sweetheart and really knows his stuff.I find it amazing how he always knows exactly what to do without me even having to say a word. I can't say enough about the way he cuts my hair. I'm constantly complimented on how beautiful my cut is. He is truly concerned that you are happy with your cut, and takes his time with you? he is the most methodical and talented hairstylist?. You'll feel like and look like a million bucks once you've experienced what I call a Koby cut (he is a total master at A-line cuts)?I will follow him anywhere he goes he is that amazing! Superb service from a friendly and caring hair stylist 1/28/2007

I went to Koby on recommendation from a friend. I usually don't get cuts in high-end salons, so I was a bit nervous about what I would come out with. The haircut turned out fantastic and I got about 50 compliments on it (from girls and guys alike) at a party that evening. Koby was very respectful of what I was looking for, but knew how to add be creative within the boundary in which I was comfortable. I am definitely going back to Koby, especially when I want to feel beautiful with my hair. Pros: Caring hair stylist with great hands that gives you more than just a great haircut more
