This place is an absolute dump - the pictures on their web site are at least ten years old. The entire property is in a state of disrepair, and management staff are some of the rudest people you'll ever meet in your life. We saw this place on the internet and thought it was so cute. We lived two hours away so I didn't get to see it in person until the day we moved in and I was shocked to say the least. Luckily we had a short term lease. In the months we were there the cops and fire trucks were there on a regular basis. We had to keeps buckets on the floor at all times in case it rained because despite calling the apartment manager and maintenance several times, they never fixed the hole in the ceiling that was there when we moved in and we had to cover up the fist size hole in bathroom that looked right into our neighbors apartment! Don't be fooled - this place is a shack. more

I lived there for about six months. I have to say, i felt like I was living in a project housing or "ghetto". I had my car broken into on three seperat occations. The local police department makes a daily visit. I lived in the one bedroom in the C section. The over all inside was pretty good. The windows had no screens on them. And when i asked to have screens put it, the toothless ex felon put in some screens that didn't fit the window so were litteraly bent into shape to put in wich didn't keep bugs out. The office staff had no comunication. Overflowing trash dumpsters with fifty couches piled in an amazing mass. And if you cook popcorn and burn it... Fire alarms. Fire department comes. And it's not uncommon for the alarms to be set off at 2 am. The pool had a huge crack in it so was closed all summer. more

i have lived here for 4 months and i didnt believe the reviews on this place. Well let me tell you there all true. The bad ones that is. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after all the trouble i've had i would not recommend it to anyone. I will be moving at the end of my lease if i dont get an attorney first. The window in my living room is rotten and black mold is present on the floor under the carpet. The problem has yet to be fixed. The maintenance tells you that they cant do anything for the evening, and they will return in the morning only they come and bandage the problem. I am disgusted and frustrated. I have told them i will contact and attorney if the excuses continue. Do not come here this is a joke. more

Well when I first research this apt complex it was sooooo very nice! The online photos make you wanna move in like yesterday but when I went to view this property on 4/8/10 the apts they showed where totally different and they falsely presented themselves online big time! I told her to see if she can get me on the garden side which is apparently more of what you see online but the older buildings are horrible! We will see how it turns out when I see the garden side for myself. I will keep this updated! more

I have been here for a year. I have not had my a/c working for a solid week. I have had to wait 4 days before to get emergency service on my a/c unit, then they bring a window unit (tiny, by the way) that doesn't work. When you walk into my building, the people right outside the door let their pit bull poop on their balcony. I have complained about this for almost a month and all they will do is leave a note on the door. All of my appliances are dated from the mid-nineties, my bathroom tile are falling off the walls, which has not been fixed. My kitchen lights short out all the time. My balcony door did not have a lock on it for the first week I lived there. Not to mention the pot holes that are never filled in the parking lot, the broken fitness equipment and the computer lab that usually doesn't work. Bad place to live. I lived here for almost one year. The ceiling was leaking all the time. The apartment was so noisy. I lived in the ground floor. I can even hear the cellphone vibrate and ring upstairs. The carpet was dirty. The environment was dirty. The tennis court had been broken for almost one year. The office people are not helpful. They don't care about my situation and they are also slow to fix the problem. They kept saying "I cannot decide." "You need to talk this to manager even VP." I think they are just trying to slow down the process and they are just irresponsible. Strongly not recommend to move in. You will be sad and angry everyday. more

I was shown a very nice model. Told how complex is undergoing multimillion dollor renovation. Never got to see my apartment till I started moving in. Water damage. Ceiling leaked 4 times first week I was there found mold. Dirty, vinyl coming up paint splattered on cabinets and door, thermostat had short in it. trash in hall, no locks on windows, screens tore, empty beer cans outside my window, convicted felons working there, not to mention liars. Save yourself the trouble. I have had to hire an attorney . I am afraid to stay there. more

If you walk through the hallways you will see bags of trash sitting and stinking outside the apartment doors. The floors are filthy as are the walls. The screens are missing and vandals roam the hallways, tearing down the wallpaper and punching holes in the walls. more

I moved in 3 months ago and I really like it here. My apartment is HUGE! I'm in a one bedroom apartment and it's bigger than my friend's two bedroom apartment. I don't know what they're talking about old appliances and stuff. All of mine are newer & white. I've seen some really old ones at other places. This place is nice & there's lots more than I've ever had. I use the internet room almost every day and the pool was nice when it was warm. PROS: internet room, huge rooms, new appliances, quiet CONS: Haven't found any yet more

Unless you want all of your maintenance requests totally ignored, don't bother with this complex. They will promise you the world and deliver NOTHING! I have been here for over 2 months and the halls have never been swept, the patio door is unusable so we have been denied use of our patio, and the bedroom windows do not lock.\r No security lights in certain parking lots. Outside lights on buildings are allowed to stay burned out. In addition, there are no smoke detectors in the apartments and this complex has had several serious fires in the past several years.\r Here in the heat of the summer, the doggy poo recepticles are left unemptied and without pick-up bags. With no bags, no one cleans up after their dog.\r Obviously, I will be leaving at the end of my lease. PROS: Nice pool and health club CONS: maintenance and security more

You can find very unique floorplans at Knobs Pointe in a nice location with great views, but that's it. We were shown a two bedroom of the floorplan we liked, but as we walked through, we were sure we wouldn't live there. The carpeting was worn, the toilet was dirty, accessories were old, like the closet doors, faucets, and appliances. There are several activities available though, including a pool, minature golf, a fitness center, billiards room, and tennis courts. As we drove out of the complex, we noticed trash in the parking lots, broken screens on windowns and hanging off, the buildings were dirty, and there seemed to be people just wandering around. more
