Kiki's is a great neighborhood store with almost all the necessities. It is a supermarket on a much smaller scale (maybe that just makes it a ""market"", then?). It is ideal for anyone in the Brighton vicinity who would rather not deal with the crowds at Super Stop & Shop!
As far as the staples go at Kiki's, you can always get milk, eggs, bread, cereals, and some fresh produce. They are each good prices and good quality. Additionally, they have a large variety of yogurt (plain, flavored, and greek - my favorite!), canned soups, ice creams (many, many flavors including Ben N' Jerry's), several flavored chips (many European varieties for the Irishmen!), and pastas.
The deli at Kiki's is great as well. They make fresh sandwiches, wraps, and roll-ups to order. All the ingredients are very fresh and the prices are reasonable for all. They are always running a weekly sub special for $3.00 or so, but the regular size is about $5.00.
