The best learning center around 8/31/2006

My children have been at this development center for five years. We have never received anything but great care. Not only have my children received loving care at this facility, but I have recently discovered that they have learned a tremendous amount. My daughter entered kindergarten reading at a second grade level! She was far advanced socially and well as academically from her peers. My daughters have formed a bond with their teachers and consider them family.(the director has attended many of our family events!) The owner is also the director. The center is smaller, not the cookie cutter corporation environment, and because of that my children are treated as individuals, not just another tuition payment. I highly recommend this center. Pros: curriculum based, creative learning, home-like setting more

Be Careful 8/8/2006

I loved this school for my children initially. Yet, their teacher changed and the replacement was less than competent. The owner is a very nice, dedicted person and there are many family-centered activities throughout the year. However, the teachers seem to be burned out and really don't seem to have a lot of experience under their belts. Communication with the previous teacher was awesome, yet when she left, the replacement never cared much for anything. I was happy but now will take them out. The disorganization in the place has gotten really bad and with such a high rate of staff turnover, it's really not good for a childcare center. Pros: Family activities, dedicated owner Cons: High turnover rate, teachers seem disorganized and uncaring more

terrible experience 8/6/2006

You get what you pay for. That is what we learned from this day care. This place was such a bad experience for us and my kid , who in 3 months learned nothing, not even potty training. He started right before turning 2 and his first language is not english, so he was ignored and shoved to the side so much so the teachers would never greet him or confort him when he got fuzy. We observed him a couple of times from outside the backyard and the teacher never tried to make him feel loved or get him involved in the class or with other kids. Cons: not loving teachers more

Love Kid's Club 12/20/2005

My child has been attending Kid's Club for a few months and we are more than thrilled to be a part of such a wondeful center. Her teachers have been in contact with me for various things and always seem to sincerely have the children's best interests in mind. I have a Master's Degree in Education and I really feel comfortable sending my child to this center. The owner is awesome and the staff really are wonderful. Classes are organized, low teacher-to-student ratios and learning takes place! Pros: teachers are good, child-centered, good communication more
