This is beginning to be one of my favorite Monterey Park sushi places. The two times I've been, the sashimi has tasted juicy, fresh, and plentiful. The octopus slice is sprinkled with lemon and has a mint leaf, which I appreciate because I don't see this very often. There are plenty of bang for your buck sushi restaurants in the san gabriel valley, but this is the only one where the chefs actually take this much care with the food. This isn't a hollywood concept sushi restaurant, so you get straightforward meals and some interesting things on the menu that look semi-traditional. Also, the last two times I went, I shared the special 3-combo with a friend/sister and still came away pretty stuffed.
Pros: food, ambience, price
Cons: not many customers?
