Karl's Juvenile Furniture

My mother and I went shopping to Karl's yesterday for baby clothing and bedding for our crib. We had visited other stores and we didn't like the selection so my friend told us to try Karl's. I was alittle overwhelmed with their big selection but the sales associate was able to help us find what we were looking for. We found the perfect bedding set with all the accessories. And they had the most adorable baby clothing. more

Karl's Baby and Teenage Furniture is the WORST place you can go to get furniture. If you do decide to go there, then look forward to waiting 5 months and not even receiving your furniture! If i could give Karl's 0 stars I would! In January I picked out furniture from Karl's that I wasn't sure if I would or wouldn't like, now 5 months later, my furniture still hasn't arrived. I called them and they told me they will deliver it Wednesday, I call Wednesday excited for my furniture and I hear that they can't deliver it and they will be delivering it Friday, I call Friday and they say they will deliver it Monday! I call Monday now frustrated and beyond done with these people and they say it will DEFINITELY be here Tuesday, now I call Tuesday and I find out it will come Friday! Now this is a joke!! They have irresponsible workers that don't do there job, and to make it worse they talk back to their customers. When I went to get my furniture the heat wasn't working and they didn't even bother to turn on the lights! My birthday was ruined, my plans were ruined, and they straight out lied to me! I would be surprised if Karl's stayed in business longer! Please save yourself the time and energy and go somewhere else! more

WE PURCHASED A BEDROOM SET FROM KARL'S IN 2005. OUR BED RECENTLY BROKE AND WE CALLED KARL'S TO REPAIR THE BED. EVEN THOUGH THE MANUFACTURE CLOSED, KARL'S REPAIRED THE BED THE NEXT DAY. WE WERE SO IMPRESSED WITH THE EFFICENT SERVICE. more

The sales associates will tell you anything to get you to place an order. Our furniture was 4 weeks late and the only communication we had with Karls was if we picked up the phone to check the status. In addition to the furniture being late the order was shipped incomplete. It is a shame that they are the only retailer around who carries such a varied collection of childrens furniture. My advice would be to use them as a place to research all of the different lines of furniture that are out there and find a different retailer to purchase from. more

When my friend needed new furniture for her daughter we went to Karl's and were both amazed at what we saw. Karls' had everything to make a kid's room look put together and great. There were pieces or complete sets to buy. The handpainted furniture, although expensive, was beautiful and worth the price. Karls' even sells bedding making it easy to get all that you need for a new room in one trip. I also liked the items that they carried for teens, there was quite a selection and any teen would be happy to have anything from it. more

In the age of the huge, impersonal superstores like Babies R Us, it is nice to see a place like Karl's, with sales people that can actually answer your questions. They carry a wide variety of quality nursery furniture (read: plenty of Morigeau-Lepine, Pali, etc.). You can go up to the 2nd and 3rd floor and see more cribs than what you'll be able to distinguish. They also carry quality accesories and clothing downstairs. The downside of Karl's is that it feels a little intimidating. There's so much stuff, it's hard to go in with a baby in a stroller without worrying that he will knock something. more
