I've been here twice with many questions to ask and I must say the staff here rocks, especially the owners. They really give you helpful advices, not pushing on the marketing . The prices are also very reasonable. more

My room looks great 8/16/2011

I was hesitant to buy my baby furniture at Karl's because my friends furniture was delayed. But their selection and prices are the best! I was told the furniture would take 12 weeks to come in. At 8 weeks, I received a call from them and they wanted to schedule delivery. I was so happy my furniture cam in 2 weeks early. My room looks great and now I'm just waiting for the birth of my little princess. Yay! more

I really hate to see all of this negative... 8/10/2011

I must say, these guys know their business. I just had a baby and my sister have me a morigeau crib from Karl's. My movers misplaced some of the hardware and I was stressed out. I drove down to Karl's and the man was extremely busy. He stopped his day and found me 6 screws I needed. Now my baby has a crib to sleep in. I thank them for their help and kindness towards me. more

They are professionals! 8/8/2011

I cannot believe all of the negative reviews! I purchased a bed from Karl's 7 years ago and I must say, they are professionals! My 7 year old canadian bed broke and I called Karl's. They told me to bring the broken headboard to the store and they would repair it at no charge! The bed was out of warranty and they still repaired the bed for free! I couldn't believe it! I highly recommend Karl's to all of my friends and family! more

Buyer beware 7/22/2011

We want buyers to be aware of the customer service that they can expect from Karls.... We ordered a Pali crib and dresser back in January and had to go through a painful process of getting the crib and dresser delivered. Those items were all paid in full (something we will never do again if we can avoid it) and were scheduled to be delivered prior to the birth of our son. We had to place EIGHT CALLS and one in-person visit in order to get any status on the delivery of the crib and dresser, which finally arrived three weeks after the promised delivery date. There is a total lack of customer service and communication from the staff at Karl's. We truly believe that the crib and dresser delivery was only forthcoming after we got fed up and instructed them to cancel the order and refund our card. When the crib and dresser were delivered, the DELIVERY Staff informed us that the conversion kit was backordered and was likely the reason for the original delay. Not that we knew that, since it was never mentioned in the myriad of calls placed to the store, or the in person visit. We were told by the delivery staff that we would receive a call from the store when the backordered kit came in, but in the roughly 10 weeks since that delivery we haven't heard one word from Karl's. We had to call three times in the last week inquiring into our backordered universal conversion kit for the crib. All of our voice messages have been ignored, and even after speaking to someone over the phone their promises to call back with a status have gone unanswered. We now wish we had read the online reviews before shopping at Karl's. We have now sent an email hoping for some response from them since all of our recent phone calls have gone unanswered. If we do not receive a response we will have to visit the store yet again to get some answers, and credit toward our purchase. I will gladly shop elsewhere for the conversion kit! more

Misleading Sales Information 2/13/2011

My mother had shopped at this store many decades ago when I was an infant. So, when she had a granddaughter, she purchased a convertible crib there so her granddaughter could stay with her. Well, now that she is three, we called and asked how to convert the crib into a toddler bed. The people at Karl's told us that to convert the crib into a toddler bed, we would have to purchase a kit that costs as much as the crib itself. This store is not what it used to be. Poor customer service and misleading sales will keep me away from there. more

THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY and you will never see them again if th 9/9/2010

Both Adam and Brad cannot be bothered taking care of their customers. After you have your purchases in hand, you will be on your own... even if the expensive junk falls apart! My son's expensive ($6000. several years ago) that was supposed to last through adulthood, fell apart. Adam refused to send a guy to look at the problems unless I paid some exorbitant fee up front, and the other brother, Brad does not return calls at all. Do yourself a huge favor and find another store to buy your childrens' furniture! more

Good experience - customer service fine w/follow up 8/5/2009

We bought a beautiful Munire nursery furniture set from Karl's. Their prices were the best and we had great service while there. Delivery was a week later than expected, but we were kept informed and knew this would be the case. Delivery and set-up folks were great - nice, efficient, and did a great job! After taking down a shelf from the hutch (to turn hutch into changing table) we saw that there was a large coloring stain on the furniture. While it took several follow-up calls on our part, within 2 weeks we had a brand new piece of furniture all set up and looking great. I can understand the frustration re: customer service after delivery, but if you remain persistent and agreeable, the people at Karl's do get things done and you wind up with lovely furniture! Pros: Great selection, Best Prices Cons: Follow-up re: delivery, quality repairs falls on you more

No Customer Service After Purchase 8/31/2007

We spent over $5,000 on a custom painted crib and dresser and custom made linnens. It was a bad sign when the delivery team was overweight and sweating all over our new baby's room; but then when there were problems after installation, Karl's never got back to us. We called twice and the second call the owner got on the phone and explained how important customer service is, yet never got back to us. They couldn't even honor the simplist of requests....touch up paint so we could fix the paint problem ourselves. Pros: If you live in the city, they are local and have selection; but are very expensiv e Cons: Once they have you're money-they have NO customer service. more

best selection, service, and unique merchandise 8/10/2006

my mother and i shopped all over. after visting karl's there was no need to go anywhere else. i was able to see a huge selection and the people were very friendly and willing to spend time with my mother and i. the baby bedding was so different. we did our layette and the prices were great. i can't wait to have another baby so i can shop at karl's. Pros: friendly family atmosphere. big selection on the showroom more

WORST customer service 7/23/2006

Most of their furniture is beautiful & high quality and their prices are competitive, but their customer service is AWFUL. They do not return phone calls, do not fix problems in a timely manner, and are rude & pushy on the phone. I will go out of my way to not buy furniture here in the future. more

Awful customer service 7/4/2006

Beautiful selection of furniture, but that is all that impressed me. The salesman told us to ""shop around, pick the most expensive furniture we can find and then come see him. ha ha"" I didn't find him funny and actually thought that it was unprofessional. We should have left right then, but we proceeded to buy baby furniture and when we received a piece of furniture that was flawed, it took them nine months to send us a new piece. We also had many phone calls ignored or not returned...horrible customer service when we spent over $2000. Pros: large selection to choose from Cons: customer service more
