"This is easily the best experience that I have ever had with a kennel... I only wish I would have found them before going to any other Austin kennels (all of which were terrible). We've been going to them for nearly a year now... and my dog loves it there! She always comes home exhausted from playing so hard with the other dogs. This is the only kennel that my dog has ever not been happy to see us at when we come to pick her up... she tries to go back inside! As far as the owners go... I have only dealt with Mark. At first meeting, he didn't talk too much, so I couldn't get a feel for him... maybe others are judging on this. Ever since, however, he has gone out of his way to be as helpful to us as possible. He also knows my dog by name and is very good at handling her. My wife and I had a baby in January... the day before the ice storm started. Mark had no problem leaving our pickup date up in the air... as we didn't know how many days we'd be in the hospital. As it turns out, for several reasons (including the Ice Storm itself) we stayed there for an entire week. Mark was great about it... and offered to wash our dog on whatever turned out to be our last day so that we could come home with the new baby to a clean dog. They even offered to... get this... drop our dog off at our house for us so that we didn't have to get out in the elements with the new baby. I don't know what a couple other people's issues are with them... this kennel and its owners are wonderful! And even less expensive than any other kennel we tried here in Austin! 5 stars easy." more

I was happy they weren't completely booked up when I began looking for a place to board my dog 3 weeks prior to July 4th. And the owner (who was at the front desk when I arrived) seemed nice enough. more

I had a GREAT experience at the kennel. I found Jessica and Marc to be very helpful. I thought that it was a great place for our dogs to go and I can't imagine anyone not being happy with Just 4 Paws. I think this other lady is crazy and needs to get a life. One of the 2 owners is never there, so there is no way that she met both of them. I have been taking my dogs there since they opened almost 5 years ago and I would reccomend them to anyone. One last thing...It's a kennel. Therefore, it is not going to smell like roses. Anyone else that isn't crazy would understand that. more

Friendly Staff more

Like many dog lovers I hate to leave my dogs behind when I go on a vacation they can't acompany me on. I at least leave with a peace of mind that they will get attention and have fun playing with other dogs while I am away. The times I have left my dogs at this facility they always seem to have had a good time. more

My dog has stayed there on several occasions. They are always accomodating to my dog's needs (food, medicine, a little frightened by other dogs). My dog has always been happy and exhausted from all her socializing when I pick her up. more

This is a great place! I have used them for boarding on a couple occasions while I was away on business more

I have been taking my dog there for years, and she loves it. Every time we drive up, she can't wait to go inside, and she usually sprints to the door before I can get out of the car. It completely takes the guilt out of leaving my dog at the kennel. more

Not a typical kennel. Dogs play with other buddies inside a large room or outside, they only go into a large kennel at night. They do a pretty good job here. Wish they had larger indoor and outdoor space but I feel confident leaving my dog here. They book up so make a reservation! more

These are the things I loved about Just4Paws: 1) Prompt and courteous communication 2) Nancy is very full and booked up but she referred us to Ken who works with her and I cannot say enough about Ken! 3) Convenience... they come right to your door 4) Comfort- while Bella immediately started getting the royal treatment, Enzo was comfortable and happy waiting in his home for his turn. No more cages, shaking and crying and waiting all day like Petco or PetSmart! (This alone is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!) 5) AMAZiNG job- Enzo and Bella looked the best they have ever looked! Plus Ken got their cuts exactly right the very first time!!As mentioned above, we had Ken as the groomer and he did a wonderful job. He was super nice and friendly and handled the dogs extremely well. We already have our next appointment booked with him! :)I would give Just 4 Paws a bajillion stars if I could. more

Great Place: All I can say is just perfect more

I have never boarded my dogs, but after moving to Austin I had to in order to get back to Dallas for an event. I hesitated after reading the reviews, but after talking to the staff, felt good about leaving them. My dogs can be very territorial and I was worried about them not getting along with the other dogs. The owner took my dogs with confidence and was very calm. When I picked them up the next day, they were fine. excited to see me, and I had trouble with them...as usual...but the staff didn't even get a leash. I think I may consider asking about training as well. more
