The Breakfast tacos in town! 3/24/2006

I used to work down the street from Juan in a Million and every week w/out fail we had to do a taco run at least once a week for Juan's famous tacos. The Don Juan taco is the best! It's a huge, dirt cheap and best of all delicious! This place is always packed and normally I avoid places that are always full, but their food is so good that I just can't stay away. Juan can always be found there greeting everybody and making sure that you're getting the service you deserve. I definitely miss working by there. more

Juan place to go for breakfeset! 8/16/2005

Juan in a Million is a great joint in South/East Austin for a great breakfast after partying on 6th street. Juan is usually at the door to welcome you for coming. This place is a fast paced breakfast joint that is always packed. They try to get you in and out before you know it, which is fine if you don’t’ want to sit and chat for over an hour. The food is top notch and more authentic than say Magnolia’s. Try the migas! Another issue can be parking on some days, the place doesn’t have an abundance of parking as most places in Austin do not. more

  • Located on East Cesar Chavez is a little Mexican place, painted all in pink, called Juan in a Million. Diners are instantly captivated by the no-nonsense decor, the comforting bustle, and the warm greeting of its owner, Juan Meza. Family owned and operated since 1981, Austinites flock to Juan in a Million for the Don Juan (a gargantuan taco stuffed with eggs, potatoes, bacon, and cheese), enchiladas, and fajitas.

    A party room is even available for any special occasion. Juan in a Million can accommodate a party from 20 to 200 individuals, indoor or outdoor. The room is available with catering for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Please call for catering information, rates, and/or to book the private room for your special occasion.
