My absolute favorite chocolate store in the US has two locations, one in Allentown and one in Bethlehem, PA. Josh Early's chocolate is out of this world. I have grown up with it being a part of our holiday traditions. We always get non-pariels at Christmas, chocolate nuts at Easter and other assorted treats thoughout the year. They store has so many different things to buy--you have to check it out. They also give free samples if you want to try something. They have white, dark and milk chocolate products as well as some other types of candy. more

Though they may be rather expensive, the prices are well worth it for their truly addictive handmaid candies. My personal favorites are the coconut haystacks and chocolate covered cherries, and their vanilla buttercreams covered in milk chocolate might be my favorite candy in the world. Despite the price, I recommend checking them out, although not taking a lot of money may be torture if you're a chocolate lover. more

Excellent candy but not cheap... 11/7/2005

The candy is excellent, but one should know going in that it isn't cheap. I highly recommend going a few days after a big holiday (for example Easter), because the put a lot of the Easter themed candy on sale. When we were there everything was 50% off, which made it much more reasonable. You may want to get there early for the best selection though because the pickings were a little slim at our visit. more

Stay away when you are Pregnant or PMSing!!! 9/4/2005

This place is every chocoholics dream! It is 6 months after Easter that I am preparing this review and I still find myself thinking about the peanut butter eggs! Be prepared to drop some cash after you taste your first sample. You won't walk out of this place empty handed. Great for the quick housewarming or hostess gift. Don't miss it for packing Easter baskets! more
