Jopa Restaurant 3/29/2006

My family and I dined at Jopa during the summer, and were very disapointed. After waiting for about a half an hour, we got seated outside when the staff refused to turn the heating lamp on. We sat cold for twenty minutes waiting for service. The food, which was served either over cooked or cold, was less than delicious. Though the prices are reasonable, and there is a family friendly atmosphere, I believe that there are better family Italian restaurants around the Portland area. more

Perfection!! 1/11/2006

For the price you really can't beat Jopa. The food is great and the service is as good as any. The only problem that I have run into is that people have finally began to realize how good this place is and the parking lot gets packed. That is a small price to pay for the awesome experience you will have. Disregard any negative feedback from others, they are obviously too picky. Jopa is the best place for the money in town. Another reason to love JoPa... 11/13/2005

I organized my 15 year High School reunion and had to look no further than JoPa. I know I didn't have to impress my classmates, but it was good to know I (really Wendy, our server) knocked their socks off! It was such a good time, management finally (politely) kicked us out an hour after closing. We love it so much, my husband and I took another couple there for dinner within a week afterwards! Consistent quality-Great Happy Hour! 9/28/2005

My husband and I have been going to JoPa for about a year now. We love to sit in the bar for happy hour, where we always receive amazing service. The food is consistently fabulous! I recommend the pizzas, fritto misto, crab cakes, chopped salad and the risotto. Good wine list, but also try one of Nick's margaritas! Pros: Happy Hour, Location, Bartender Cons: Not open Mondays more
