I've ate at Johnny's for the 6 yrs that I have lived in Oklahoma. It has had the same owner who is always there and very friendly. You can order a beer and have some good BBQ. I always have the Johnny Louisiana. It chopped BBQ brisket with cheese and slaw on garlic toast. Order the onion rings they are great. The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is good. more

We've stopped at Johnny's for several years because of both the easy access from I-35, and it's good BBQ. When you can feed 6 grandkids and get no complaints, it means something. The meat is smoky as it should be and quite flavorful. The portions are generous, service is quick and prices are reasonable. It's a keeper. more

This is a family restaurant. \r The atmosphere is very friendly. We like to make everyone that comes in feel as if they were at home.\r The food is great and the service is outstanding. \r Its not too expensive and you get very generous portions, no matter what you order. We like to make sure everyone leaves with a smile on there face.\r We have a different lunch and dinner special everyday. more

Halfway between Grapevine, Texas and Kansas City lies a great place that serves up both good burgers and good BBQ-\r That is saying something since I reside in Texas and grew up in K.C. and they both brag of good BBQ. \r We stop here to and fro on our road trips cause it is just off 35 and we like the good pulled pork and friendly service. There is nothing better than munching on hot popcorn as you decide on your order. Tootsie Rolls end your visit when the check is delivered. Nothing fancy, just a great place to stop on a road trip! more
