I needed my laptop repaired and he offered to take a look at it but stated that it would cost me $75.00 overall to diagnose it if I wanted him to fix it. That price would be included in the repair fee. He checked it out in front of me and stated, ""that it would require more time to solve this issue"". I had software issues that required more time to solve. I left my laptop with him and paid him the $75.00. I was contacted that same evening and he said my laptop was fixed. He had found several spyware and viruses that was the cause of the problem. He gave me a print out of the many problems and set me up with free spyware/antivirus protection. It didn't cost me but $25.00 more which was for his time. It was a total cost of $100.00 which was very little of the nightmares that I was experiencing. This guy is very good and I highly recommend him to all. He is a little expensive but you will be very satisfied with his work. When it comes to fixing certain areas that becomes very annoying I don't mind paying the extra fee as long as my problem is fixed. I highly recommend this place for great quality work and great customer service. After listening to the following tips i can't believe i came in last week.... It was more then just a headache. I should have listened to the guy below. This is just a horrible place to go to. Bad service and nothing gets fixed. Wish i would have just bought a new computer then bringing it here. HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND more

Looked for some computer repair in Orange County because i needed some data recovery service, but i couldn't find anyone in my area. Never the less John was able to get my computer up and running even got files that i thought were deleted a while back. Best experience i could have had getting my pc laptop repair by this guy! The worst service I've ever had:\r I asked ""Yun"" to replace just the cable of my laptop. He wanted $75 for inspections and then $285 for labor and parts, a total of $360. But the present value of my laptop was only $120 so I told him I could buy a new one for that price. He insisted in fixing the computer for only half price. Then he called me later saying that I'd have to pay for his additional time $150. When I went to pick up my laptop he gave me a different cord, the laptop was worst than before since It did not turn on at all. He said "" sorry I could not fix it but I can sell you these computers instead"". I said ""NO"". He showed me many used laptop and wanted $350, $400, $450 additional of what I was supposed to pay for his time. I am writing to help you understand what you are going to face if you decide to stop by his store. more

WOW!! This place did me right!! About a month ago I walked into John Yun repair shop after going to many other local repair shops and no luck at all. They all wanted to charge a fee just to look at them even though, I had my laptop with me. They wouldn't even give me the time of day without paying upfront fee. John told me his fee is $75.00 but he would include this in his total repair cost if no major repairs was needed it would not be more than the $75.00. He actually gave me the time of day and looked at my computer without an upfront fee but I did have to pay him the $75.00 to leave it with him so that he can fix it. That evening he called me and said it was fixed, I rushed over there quickly. I had several software issues that was creating havoc and some friends and family that were very computer literate they could not even fix it. He took his time and explained to me the problems he fixed and gave me a complete print out of the issues that he fixed. He was very kind and helpful. It did not cost me more than $75.00 I had paid him. My laptop has been running great ever since. Thanks John your great!! I am very happy and I highly recommend this place. more
