John Andrews Salon

I told my daughter she could get hair extensions (16th b-day present) before we left for a 2 week vacation at the beach. Since this process was new to me, one of my conditions was to seek a reputable salon in our area. Upon finding John Andrews salon, we went in for a consult with Wendy (stylist). Wendy was very knowledgable about the process and best options for a 16 year old. After speaking with Wendy, we made the appointment. Wendy did a beautiful job, and my daughter looked like a new woman. Unfortunately, there was a mishap with the extensions (tangled after swimming in the ocean), and they didn't make it through the first two weeks. After returning from vacation, I immediately called the salon and was brought in that day to have the tangled extensions removed. Wendy removed the extensions and treated the hair, free of charge. In addition, the salon reimbursed me a portion of the overall cost of the original extension charge, which I appreciated VERY much. As disappointed as we were that the extensions didn't last, I felt that the way the salon handled the situation was impeccable. What I appreciated most was that we were never made to feel as though the extension problem was our fault, they took care of us immediately with care and professionalism, and they reimbursed me for a portion of the original service. Having gone through this experience, I would definitely recommend this salon to others, and will be booking a future appointment with Wendy (Keratin treatment this time). John Andrews Salon has been one of the best experiences I've ever had at a salon. A young woman by the name of Haeley colored and cut my hair after a traumatic bad decision I made with box color. She returned my color back to beautiful and gave me a young, fresh cut. Not only was the service exceptional but the salon itself was well maintained and immaculately sleek. Never will I leave this salon. Thank you! more

Just moving back to the area from NYC, and (was) looking for a new stylist/salon in the suburbs. I'm so happy I had stumbled upon John Andrews Salon! The owner was incredibly personable and made each person feel welcomed from the moment you stepped through the door. *His dog was an extra bonus. The salon's design is up there with salons I used to go to in nyc, and the product lines they carry are top notch. I loved my stylist Lauren, she was incredibly attentive, did a great job at both my color and cut! She really impressed me with how much she listened and cared for how I wanted my cut and she got it just right. I'm definitely going back, and I recommend the salon and Lauren to anyone in the area! Imagine my surprise, when I was greeted with an enthusiastic 'hello' not only from the owner, but also from Peter the french bulldog.This salon has a casual friendly vibe that makes you feel comfortable from start to finish.\r I followed my stylist Wendy here, so I knew I would get a great color and cut. We were discussing my hair when Lisa came around the corner. Another surprise! I had been searching for her for over a year, my eyebrows hadn't been the same since she left my last salon.\r I've been going to Wendy and Lisa since my wedding (years ago). Their talent made me look my most beautiful that day (and since). Now I have them both together again! O' happy day!\r I left this calm friendly salon with perfectly arched brows,and a fun new cut with sunkissed highlights. \r I would highly recommend this salon if you want to feel Relaxed, Rejuvinated, and Beautiful like I do!
