JOEY PEPPERONI-CLEVELAND, OHIO\r
Joey moved he is still on State Road now at Tampa Avenue which is in The ""OLD BROOKLYN"" neighborhood of the city about a half mile north of by where Brookpark Road and the I-480 exit cross State Road.. He has a new phone number too, it is (216) 212-5155. His Stromboli Bread and Pepperoni Bread are just excellent. His pizzas are great too, we had him make just about everything on the menu (I really liked his ""WHITE PIZZA"" ) Joey uses a bread dough recepie to make the Stromboli and pepperoni Breads and he said they would keep for two weeks if refrigerated, we took a bunch home (they only cost like $3.00 each) but we ate them all the next day because they were sooo good. It is mostly just a carry-out but he put in an outdoor patio in the back and it has a nice seating area and it is pretty special, there is really no place like it anywhere nearby on State Road. A good place to sit out with friends and just enjoy the backyard atmosphere and the old neighborhood. If Wexler's ever re-opens this would provide one of the best walking tours anywhere...dinner on the porch at Joey's, ice cream dessert at Honey Hut, and a cold one at Wex's till it does I guess the Dirty Dog on Oakpark will be our neighborhood walking-tour tavern of choice.
Pros: Parking in the back or on State
Cons: There are 4 stools to sit on inside
