The staff at Joey D's are unbelievable. They are so friendly, they remember your name & your order and are always helpful in suggesting new dishes. The atmosphere at JoeyD's is super authentic Chicago style too, with a large map of the Chi-town, Bears & Sox memorabilia & a juke box with lots of blues. But what makes Joey D's my favorite place to stop for a quick dinner on the way home is the AMAZING Italian Beef sandwichs & Chicago Dogs. The food is 150% AUTHENTIC. The dogs are Vienna style, loaded with sports peppers, sprinkled generously with celery salt & topped with a pickle. The Cheesey Italian Beef sandwich is delicious, juicy, tasty, with LOADS of roast beef & mozzarella on a thick bun. It's just fabulous.
