I had been looking for a spa that gave high quality facials to help me with my some skin problems, and I finally found it at Glow Skin Spa. I had been very frustrated with my adult acne for almost a year and after a few months of going to Glow my skin is now almost completely clear. This is not the type of place that rushes you in and out like some of the other spas that I had been to. The staff is extremely friendly and they don't hastle you to buy all of their products. The service here is worth every dollar! Pros: Helpful Staff, Quality Service, Results Cons: A little pricey more

What a Relief 11/20/2005

My spouse and I travel often. Everyone in the family knows I am a day spa queen. If I could spend the rest of my days in a facial chair thats where I would be. I took a trip to New York and was referred to Glo Skin Spa/Samantha by a friend. While my spouse was in a meeting I decided to take a visit. I would have to say this was one of my best experiences ever. She was great. Fantastic facial. Great personality. She gave me recomendations on improving my skin without making me feel high pressure to buy product. I really appreciated that. While also giving me some ideas on some great places to visit while I was in town. I highly recomend anyone to treat themselves to this delightful experience. more

I have truly the most sensational facials here by Samantha Roberts who realises that the skin must be clean to absorb all the first class products available to clients. she has magical hands that invigorate & relax when necessary. She really is passionate about her work & wants great results for the client! I use the Environ line of products from South Africa which have replemished by complexion completelyh! more

Best Deep Pore Cleansing Facial 11/19/2005

I highly recommend Sam. I have oily skin and acne, but since I started getting facials from her once a month my skin has now cleared up. My skin glows!! People also think I'm 10 years younger than I am because my skin now looks so flawless. more

The first time I went here was for a brazilian bikini wax. I had never had this done and Jillian was excellent. She made me feel comfortable and put my mind at ease. I would definitely go here for a wax if you want it done professionally and comfortably. Also there are great products to buy especially the candles which make great gifts. more

The experience I had at Glow was outstanding from beginning to end. It was Dana who greeted me and gave me one of the most relaxing and useful treatments (facial) I have ever had. I have experienced other therapists, but Dana is by far the best. She is at all times very professional, but is friendly and personable. And futhermore, she is extremely knowledgable. Fantastic Facial! 7/28/2005

I booked a Stress Reduction Facial with Dana because I had been experiencing some minor breakouts. Before the facial, Dana spoke with me about my skin condition and the possible causes. As she began the facial she explained what each product would do for my skin. An hour later I felt rejuvenated and my skin felt smooth and clean. Dana also recommended the Somme line and explaiend how the products would continue to help my skin. After only a few weeks the clarity and tone of my skin has drastically improved. I never knew that there were luxurious spas hidden away in the city until someone recommended that I try Glow Skin Spa. I have had facials, microdermabrasion, and Faux Glow treatments with Dana and she is the best!!! Very professional yet warm and personal. Even made me feel comfortable when I was half naked getting my spray tan, and it came out so much better than any Mystic Spray tan! I will definitely continue to try new treatments with her. She is a makeup artist also and I am looking forward to when she will be doing makeup applications there soon! Pros: great treatments, beautiful space, wonderful products more

Here's one way to have an amazing, relaxing time 7/27/2005

The second I walk into Glow I feel overwhelmed with relaxation. Everyone there is so friendly and willing to help out. I use them for everything, some of the treatments I do more often are the sunless tanning, all different kinds of facials, accupuncture, and waxing. Honestly, even though there are a thousand spas on every corner in NYC this is the only one I call. Everyone there is great, but Dana has a really nice touch for a facial.... Margaret, my massage therapist was so friendly and aware about muscles, I knew I was in good hands....literally! I came in with a treaked lower back and she not only gave me a relaxing and wonderful massage, but she taught me some stretches that I could do at home to help my pain. I chose the aromatherapy massage, which was so awesome. not only did I get a therapeutic massage but my skin smelled amazing when I left. I can't wait to go back. I wasn't happy with the service; when I arrived, the receptionist was very unfriendly; but anyway I let it go. My massage was not even good and I mentioned this to the receptionist in the way out. I just moved to the city from North Carolina and my skin freaked out. It went from so smooth to so not! I had a Stress Reduction Facial with Jillian and my skin looks so much better. She LOVES extractions so if you need them, she will get them! While I was there, I booked a massage with Jay.....Can't wait! I'm so excited I found Glow. I have been so satisfied with my facials and bikini waxes at Glow. The spa is in a small but beautiful space, the staff are all personable, and I always leave happy. Jillian is so thorough and gentle with extractions, and my bikini waxes barely hurt at all! I won't go anywhere but Glow in the future. more

the Best Brazilian in the city 6/1/2005

I have been going to Jillian since September, and each time I have been very satisfied. She is very meticulous and gentle, and makes sure you are completely relaxed and comfortable. I have gone to many other waxists before, only to come out limping in pain. The Brazilians here do not hurt at ALL. I promise. You will be amazed. You will come out immaculate.
