I enrolled my 2 kids n the JCC preschool because they were the only school in our neighborhood with openings. Upon touring the facility, I was told a myriad of things that I later found to be untrue or misleading. The teachers are not college graduates (some have no college experience at all), the snacks were not healthy by an means, and the ""learning through play"" was a nice way of disguising daycare. I feel as though the rate for this school are substantially overrated for the amount of return given to the children. The teachers are loving, but do not consider wishes of parents in certain areas (potty training, meals, etc.). I am happy I made the decision to place my children is different programs in the Dallas area. The politics at this school are overwhelming once you really get to know what goes on behind closed doors.
