Worst

The food was the only thing that I thought was good at this place. I found it more of a student hang-out. Extremely small place. I don't even want to know where the restrooms are....

we love jerusalem 7/17/2003

Great food, very quick service and cheap! The falafel, cucumber salad, and combo plate are the best. If only they would warm the pitas... more

I'm craving it even now. 5/28/2003

It makes me hungry just thinking about it. Where in Denver can you get a better falafel for such a good price? Next time you're looking for a cheap dinner but looking for something different - try this restaurant! Pros: food, price more

Great? I don't think so. 12/29/2002

The food was the only thing that I thought was good at this place. I found it more of a student hang-out. Extremely small place. I don't even want to know where the restrooms are. Pros: fast. Cons: lack of courtersy, no space more

HIGHLY OVERRATED! 9/17/2002

Jerusalem Restaurant is very over-rated. The food is somewhat above average, but whatever happened to service and courtesy? Every staff person my date and I encountered at this place on two different occiasions seemed to resent having customers at all...they all seem like very angry people with chips on their shoulders. If you can forgive these qualities and go just for the food, you'll have an ok experience. Be careful when you read other reviews...""Best food ever?"" *HARDLY* Don't confuse 'best' with 'different'. If you follow trends go ahead and go to this place, but if you set trends, find a better place for M.E. food, it should be pretty easy - especially where service and courtesy are concerned! Cons: rude & unattentive, bad for dates, don't go more

Wonderful. 9/3/2002

I have never driven by this place once, where there wasn't a line out the door (including 12am-2am.) These guys have to be millionaires. The food is superb for the competition it has (late night hour dining). It's a change from the IHOPS, Taco Bells, or even Taco Express - which is good too. The Beef Gyros are just seasoned perfectly and there a a wide variety of desserts. The atmosphere though, is strange - but who cares. Good food, good service and good hours! more

Satisfyingly Different Late Night Dining 8/21/2002

It may not be the best middle eastern restaurant, but it is the best middle eastern restaurant open 2-4 am. I like the open air deck, piped in middle eastern music, casual atmosphere, and friendly service. Sometimes the music is a bit loud. The waitresses have a tendency to neglect you once your food is served. The indoor seating is crowded and the ourdoor seating not on the deck is well, in the parking lot. Overall it's something different, and the food is really satisfying. Pros: Open 'till 4 am, nice open deck, reasonable prices Cons: mediocre service more

Midnight muchies at 3 a.m. 8/4/2002

Whether you've just closed the book on a late Saturday night of studying or partying, Jerusalem will fill the void, whatever the hour. They are open 24 hours Fridays and Saturdays and have the best Middle Eastern fare in town. They have Arabic coffee to pep you up, yummy falafel, shwarma chicken (and the list goes on and on) to fill you up, and sweet sweets you'll definitely want to talk up. Best late night yummies! Pros: 24 hours fri & sat, Very authentic food, Take-out Cons: Bathrooms, Limited seats inside more

Good stale pitas! 7/27/2002

Lets face it. It is the second worst middle eastern restaurant I ate at in Denver. Albeit the management probably makes every effort to cook authentic middle eastern food, the restaurant fails to meet a presumed standard a person from middle east would have. The food was C grade. The pita bread bought from local KwickiMart was stale and not even heated. If you never had good middle eastern food then you will not know the difference. But if you ever had a half way decent food then you will be very disappointed at this restaurant. Pros: Decent price Cons: Slow service, limited parking, not authentic food more
