Will not go back again 6/10/2011

I was at Jeff Jones a couple of days back and frankly, this was one of my worst experiences at a furniture store here in Cedar Rapids. The store owner, did not even acknowledge us with a greeting when we went to teh store and did not even bother to come and ask if we were looking at anything. He was busy carrying on a conversation that apparently he felt was more important and did not bother to talk to us even when we left the store. At a time when businesses are walking the extra mile, to impress customers, stores like this will efficiently keep people away with very little effort. more

Will Shop There Again 8/11/2005

I was shopping for a new sectional sofa a few months ago and wandered into Jeff Jones not really expecting much. I was so wrong. They have wonderful, high quality furniture at a low cost. I was able to pick out my arrangement, fabrics and colors. The only drawback was that I had to wait quite a while for the sofa to come in but it was so worth it! more

Consignment furniture 7/15/2005

Do not be afraid! This store is better than it looks on the outside. We purchased a dining table here. Prices are fairly reasonable. The inside does seem to be an odd collection of furniture. You really have to look around. I have seen some absolutely wonderful pieces of furniture in here. If you are looking for furniture, stop in on a regular basis since new furniture arrives regularly. more

Used and New 7/15/2005

Jeff Jones furniture is run by the man of that name. He is a friendly guy. Does not pressure you into making a purchase and encourages you to browse through this store. There are used furniture items towards the back of the store. You can even order new items from a catalog. Free parking on the street and a side parking lot. more

Selling used furniture on consignment 7/12/2005

This is a neat furniture store to visit. The owner is very friendly and if you frequent the store enough, he does remember you. You find an odd assortment of furniture here. There are new items and items you can order with many color and fabric choices on the new items he has. They carry couches, love seats, recliners, dinning sets, beds, dressers, coffee tables, and cabinets. Since they do take in consignment items, you never know what is going to be available. Jeff Jones is closed on Sundays. more
