The best, and easiest, automotive transaction I've ever had -- and I've been around a while. Internet Sales Manager Sean Seaman was responsive to my emails and answered all my questions promptly. We basically did a deal over the phone, including an estimated purchase price for my trade-in before seeing the car -- saving me a long drive had it been too low. Just as important, the dealership honored Seaman's deal after evaluating my trade-in and after I test drove the used car that I ended up buying. Seaman allowed me to have a pre-purchase inspection of the car I bought by an independent mechanic of my choice, and he arranged to have the car delivered to, and picked-up from, the shop. The dealership also performed a couple of minor repairs before I took delivery that the independent mechanic had suggested. The F&I person at the dealership tried to sell me the usual extended warranties and such, but there was no hard sell when I declined. The price I paid for the car was in line with KBB and other internet sources. Seaman and Jaguar/Land Rover of Bellevue might give car salesmen/car dealerships a good name! Moronic sales department looking for rubes 6/18/2009

Was looking for a used XJ Jaguar and they had one that had some low miles. A 1995 XJ6 plain sedan. Ok, it had under 20k miles on it which of course is extremely low for a near 15 year old car. But to ask $20,000 for a car that booked for $4,000-6,000 WITH Mileage allowance is insane! a $15,000 premium on top of the book price. When I called them on the outlandish premium set forth on the typical going rate of a low miles XJ6 of 15 years they scoffed and acted as if I didn't have enough money to buy the car at $20k and was merely being 'cheap'. I tend to call it Common Sense. The salesman and his manager both assaulted me with derogatory emails. They were obviously fishing for a rube on this car. And I'm sure it's not the first car they have done this with. I mean yes, it's great to have very low miles, but since when does anyone with a brain pay 3-4 times the price of the car simply because the miles are low?? Stay away from these clowns. Great cars, bad dealership 12/26/2008

Was lured in to Jaguar Land Rover of Bellevue by an Internet Special on an LR3. Test drive went great and then we got to talking numbers and the experience went horribly. They tried to give me $7,000 less for my trade in than what it is blue booked. A year ago my car's MSRP was $47,000 and they offered me $23,000 even though it is blue booked between $30k and $32k. Luckily I printed out the blue book price and showed it to them. They pretty much said I was crazy. I said I was going elsewhere and the salesman took a verbal jab at my current car (a year old BMW!). Really unprofessional - was not used to this having dealt with Barrier and BMW of Seattle in the past. When I get a Land Rover it won't be through this place. Bellevue deserves better. It's like those great cars are being held hostage by some really poor sales people. Pros: Nice cars - not just Jaguar and Land Rover Cons: These people will rip you off and make you feel small more

Predatory practices. Watch out. If you are an unsuspecting consumer, these people are unscrupulous. The same person owns all three Jaguar Land Rover dealerships in Seattle and Bellevue. Seems to be a culture of corrupt practices. Pros: Pretty palace. Cons: Pretty unscrupulous! more

The Worst Dealership 7/19/2007

I just wrote what I meant to write about THIS BELLEVUE DEALERSHIP, unfortunately in the Tacoma space - I have nothing against Tacoma's, but who knows they might be just as awful. Have the 2006 Rover and great car - but absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. Starting with people who take calls, put you on hold and forget about you. Forget trying to actually speak to someone if God forbid you have a problem with your vehicle. Trading my car in for either another Porsche or Lexus (BEST) dealerships I've ever dealt with - oh add Downtown BMW to the list too - we Love our cars - too bad Range Rover lost a good car customer! Don't go to these people, even the owner doesn't care (wrote to him too) who hasn't? Pros: Range Rover is a good looking car Cons: Worst customer service in Auto Industry more
