I have ordered from them several times, and each time I'm dissapointed. Their food is OK at best, however, their staff is some of the worst I have ever encountered. I will never eat there again or even call for delivery or take out. I have never complained about a restaurant before, so this should tell you how bad it is. Would NOT recommend! more

The service was awful. Long story, kind of short? We waited several minutes at the hostess stand to be seated at which point we were told to get menus and seat ourselves. They had approx. 3 other families in the restaurant eating. Then, what appeared to be the owner first came over after 5 minutes of us being seated and took our drink orders. Then a waitress came over, and she seemed annoyed that we had already been waited on and asked to have our table. When the waitress was taking my order, she told me that my order was ?confusing? (her words) and turned to my husband and said, ?Isn?t that confusing?!? She was totally rude, and why would she try to get my husband?s opinion on my order? When my husband ordered his meal, she responded, ?OOOKay!!!? when he said he didn?t want a few ingredients. Again, totally inappropriate. When our order was given to the kitchen staff, I heard her yell out, ?I know---it?s very confusing!? I ordered spaghetti with angel hair pasta instead of spaghetti noodles. I really don?t understand how that is confusing. She took 30 minutes before getting us drink re-fills, and our food took 45 minutes to come out! The entire time, several of the cook staff was chatting or sitting and eating themselves, and the owner initiated a LOUD conversation about cheating spouses and castration as she and 2 of her staff munched on her food right in front of us. Honestly, I have never had service like that anywhere I have been. Neither my husband or I are picky, rude, or finicky people?.so for me to say this was bad means it?s the truth! Maybe ordering pick up is the way to go! They did seem to get a lot of calls for delivery or pick up, but they shouldn?t have neglected their in-house guests. On our way out, I saw a family with a toddler sitting in the outdoor section. I felt bad for them already!!! more

Very good, crisp and hot pizza. We have not had a problem with customer service at J&S. J&S was recommended to our family by friends, and we have recommended it to others. Try it for yourself. more

It's less than a mile from our house, so we eat in and take it home quite often. I don't recall ever having a bad experience. I personally enjoy the garlic knots and ""garbage"" pizza. more

i am only giving one star because i have no choice they will not let you put zero stars. first off lets say this food is nasty and i only order here because working at ace we dont have many choices in walking distance. if you get food here be prepared to get caught in DRAMA. the family feels the need to talk to you about every problem each and every member is dealing with. i also only go here because the owner the older guy with white hair hits on me and i often get free food if he is the only one up front when i pick up the food. i find it very rude when you order something and the family is talking in italian and you know they are talking badly about you because every second they are looking at you. these people really dont know how to run a good business it amazes me that they are still open. if i had it my way the best pizza place in lexington would be there. i wish they would move out here. more

We've eaten at the FV location several times and the rice balls are always good. It takes a long time for them to cook it though. Everytime we've eaten here the pizza is so soggy! The crust is wet, oily and soaked. The pizza pan always has a puddle of grease where the pizza was sitting. The last time we ate here I ordered the Hawaiian calzone. The crust was good but then when I cut it open there was gobs and gobs of cheese, some pineapple and very little ham. Some of the cheese wasn't even melted, and in the middle it was COLD! And I noticed the dough wasn't even cooked all the way. Very gross! And again, soggy pizza. We've also experienced a rude waitress that was not helpful. Seemed like she didn't like her job. Needless to say we won't be back Pros: Rice balls are good Cons: customer service is hit and miss more
