J & M Book Store II

Visiting Auburn? Or just moved here? Then head over to J&M Bookstore on College street (North or South). With two locations, it is easy to find. Alumnus and locals already know about what J&M has to offer. They have been in Auburn for almost half a century and offer a great selection of t-shirts and memorabilia. They are also one of only three non-university bookstores in which to purchase textbooks. The service is always polite and everything is organized in a way to make it easy to find what you are looking for. When selling back your text books they are sometimes pretty crowded which makes for a long wait, but for your other needs head over to J & M. Some gamedays the downtown location has a baby tiger for you to pet and have your picture taken with. more

J & M is a Auburn tradition; any visitor should make a stop by this bookstore. They have a huge selection of Auburn apparel and other souvenirs, and it is totally packed on game days. The selection of art supplies is second to none. The prices are competitive and the employees are helpful. Great place to buy books or a fun Auburn souvenir. more

I love taking my family into J&M because they are so friendly and I feel like my children get to experience what the Auburn community is all about. I find the selection of Auburn gear to be a little better at some of the other local bookstores, but we always check J&M out too. My daughter loves it, because they always give her things, like stickers and other give aways. more

J & M BookStore II is similar to Anders Book Store. Their price maybe a little lower than Anders. Their service is good. Clerks are helpful. Last time I wanted to buy some special paper from them. But they did not have the size I wanted. So they kept my telephone number. Several days later, they called me to pick up in their store. It has a long business history in Auburn. Reliable more

If you're looking for Auburn University souvenirs, this is the place to be! They carry a very wide selections of university clothing and gifts, as well as books and school supplies for university students. It has ample parking and is easy to find on College Street. Prices are reasonable, although you can always expect to pay more for university-licensed apparel. It is clean, well-lit, and has a friendly staff. more

J & M is an Auburn tradition, and one will often see the ads for them on tv, "it's a tiger of a store." The owner has actually been bitten by a tiger, which is just one of the stories you can hear about if you ask. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they seem sincerely content to be there. The location is good and parking is ok. They accept Tigercards, which is very helpful for students. They mostly carry books and Auburn University merchandise. The prices are reasonable compared to other bookstores in town. I recommend it. more
