J&F Motors has great pricing compared to the dealerships for my old BMW. They have great service too: they drove all the way to my house when my car wouldn't start one day, and started the project that day taking care of me completely. I have a baby and they made my life so much easier by taking the car to their dealership themselves and keeping me in the loop about the repair. They were quick, communicative about when the car would be ready, and kind. more

I've been going to them for around two and a half years now. They're really knowledgeable about maintenance needs, they make you feel comfortable. When I call, a lot of times I'm not sure what's going on with my car. They make it feel like they're open and available to help you, and they do a good job of explaining what the issue is and why. That makes it easier to understand what's going on, and builds trust. more

I have been using J&F Motors since 1984. They are great! They take care of all of my BMWs. The only time I go anywhere else is when I buy a new one and I have to take it where the warranty applies, or when I am out of town and something happens that requires me to take it somewhere closer to where I am at that time. They are honest and they are competent. That is a great combination; one that I want the people taking care of my cars to have. more

I have a 1987 BMW convertible that needed repairs to the shift lever. The car was towed to J&F for the repairs and had previously been serviced at J&F ($3K plus in parts and labor). J&F fixed the shift lever at a reasonable fee but also installed a new battery. The battery was not installed in accordance with the manufacturer specifications because it was not poperly locked in place in the battery mount shelf. When picking up the car I felt like the service department felt like this car wasn't worth their time. Money is money and an old car as a fixer upper hobby car is likely going to need the help of the professionals now and then. I have 2007 335i that is out of warranty now and will be looking for an independent BMW shop to service that car. I'm willing to give J&F another opportunity to earn my business. more

At J&F Motors, the service is incredible. I've done business with J&F for a number of years. I stopped going to my dealer for work because their service was so much better. They are more considerate, and a lot, lot cheaper. They are just as honest, and as courteous, as the day is long. They keep their word, and don't try to over sell you. They just provide good, honest solutions. For example, the dealer wanted to replace my alternator, but I wanted a second opinion. I took it to J&F, and they found out that it was actually the battery, and that it was still under warranty. Replacing the alternator just wasn't necessary. J&F saved me mega bucks. When you walk in to J&F Motors, their shop is cleaner than most homes. It speaks volumes of them, to see that they take such pride in their shop and their tools. It is one of the cleanest shops you will see anywhere. It increased my comfort level with them to see how professionally they take their work. With J&F Motors, I could not ask for more. They are totally professional, and you can take confidence in what they tell you. It's a tremendous value, especially when you consider all the time and energy I have saved knowing that the proper work is being done properly, and at a reasonable price. They serve good coffee too. I have a 12 year old BMW that was top of the line the year they made it. I was having a horrible time with the BMW people, and J&F Motors was recommended to me. I took it in to them, and I have never looked back. They do a great job. They are honest and have high integrity. They will sit there and explain everything in detail to me. I am an amateur, but they make me feel like I know a lot about my car. They know that it is an investment, and that I have put a lot into my car. There have even been times when they have called me with things they are thinking about my car. My car is approaching 75,000 miles, even though it is 12 years old, and they let me know that it is usually around this time that the transmission starts to go. They told me it might be worth thinking about trading it out, and what is worth the money or not. Every time I go in there, it is exactly the same experience; I am never disappointed. J&F Motors has always done a good job. I have had 2 BMWs in a row, so I have taken my cars to them for about 15 years. I take it to them any time I have a problem. I am fortunate that they are only about 2 blocks from where I live. I can drop off my car and walk home, and then walk down to pick it up. J&F Motors has kept my cars going great. The car I have right now I bought there, from Bimmer Motor Sales. The only thing I can complain about it is that it is a little pricey, but that is what you get with BMWs. They always treat their customers with respect. They ask if you need a ride. They take care of the cars. When I bring them my car they take it in, check it out, and call to explain exactly what it is and how much it will cost. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Anytime I had a problem at J&F Motors it was fixed. I didn't have any doubt about it being fixed. Their customer service is excellent, and the guys are very professional. I have been going there ever since I got this car, so about 4 years. I like being there, and I like taking my car there. I wouldn't take it anywhere else. In fact, I would go to J&F Motors before going to the main dealer. Some of the guys kind of go overboard. When I need something little and they notice it, sometimes they just fix it with no cost. I know that when people go to mechanics they don't know whether they are being cheated, but I don't think that is a problem at J&F Motors. I had a seat problem, and they told me exactly what it was, and it ended up not costing me anything. I am happy with the service. more
