Cam thinks he is a cool salesman but he trys to sell things in a very hidden way be very careful and ask many questions he will try to get off the phone with you as soon as possible, I should have done this in person and now I am in a contract that I had no clue about. more

Cameron at the Tigard Islands tanning location knows how to treat his customers right. And the Owners Jon and Becca are the best. They do so much for their community. Locally owned business who takes care of their own. The salon is always clean, music is always going and smiles are always had. I love my tropical vacays to Islands tanning! more

I really enjoy the cleanliness of the tanning beds... My only concern is being pitched - pretty much every time I go in- about adding more services or upgrading. The girl is good but the guy in there is too pushy. I regret signing a contract with them. more

Everyone here has always been so 12/30/2011

Everyone here has always been so helpful! I went in to this location and got a tanning package back in March of 2011. Every time I have gone in here, the people have always been really friendly! The beds are always really clean. There is never a long wait, and when there is they put you on a waiting list and get you in really quickly. Amazing tanning place and the location is so convenient! more

I have never written a review online before but I had to after my experience at Islands Tanning in Tigard. I was extremely pressured to sign a contract, upgrade my contract and spend more money constantly! I have never been so pressured by sales people before in my life! The salon is not even very clean and the experience with the staff alone is so terrible that even going there once is huge mistake! Unless you want to be pressured to spend more money every single time you go there, regardless of if you continue to say no, then you should tan somewhere else!!!! more

Best Tanning around 9/5/2011

I did not feel pressured to buy anything when i came in. I was referred here by a friend and decided to check the place out. I was given a few different pricing options and chose the one that worked best for me. I love the tanning bed i use and have achieved the color i wanted. I wouldn't tan anywhere else! more

FUN AND RELAXING 9/5/2011

I got a great price on a tanning package here. I wanted to shop around before I bought but the staff were so nice and funny I decided to go with my gut. I havnt regreted it. They listen to me and carry on conversation and even allowed my daughter to tan on my package for free! I love the staff at Islands!! Keep up the great work guys! more

People at islands tanning are so polite and friendly. They always try to help their clients with anything that they need. They have amazing prizes for their great beds! :) and the place looks so sanitary and clean. I always recommend my friends and family to this tanning salon. more

Dont go if you want to get what you pay for 5/16/2011

I paid 875.00 for my daughter and I to do unlimited tanning for 18 months. I walked in today and they told me I cant do that anymore. Now only one of us can do unlimited. We have both been going since December and now they are trying to track down people that paid for 1 person, but have multiple people on their account. IM NOT ONE OF THEM! I paid for 2 people. So, I asked for corporates phone number and they cant give that to me. I have to write a letter and fax it to them. WOW! Don't go here!!! more

Better than Suns Up!! 1/20/2011

We needed to go tanning before my husband and I went to Hawaii for our wedding... and we are so glad we picked this place!! The staff was really nice and made me a great deal on a package for both of us to use so we were ready for our trip. Next time we are in the need of tanning this is where we will go :) more

MY FAVORITE 1/9/2011

This place is amazing for sure. I hate tanning usually and think it's a waste of time and money. However, with the weather being how it is, i couldn't help but check out Islands the other day. I was so surprised by the staff and how helpful and friendly they were. The beds are state of the art and top of the line too! I had no idea all the benefits of tanning! i recommend islands to everyone! more

Islands Tanning is flat out the best tanning out there. It's almost impossible to find a place that has amazing beds along with a very welcoming staff. I always feel right at home. To Islands tanning I feel more like a friend than a customer. There are a bunch of other locations that I can try out too. I just love this place. more

I have been tanning at islands tanning since they opened and I LOVE it. The sales people are always in a good mood and definitely make it obvious that they are there to satisfy YOU. I have been tanning for a long time and can honestly say that you can't find better beds anywhere other than Islands Tanning. They also have a ton of other locations around so if I need to tan but i'm not in town, there's always one close by. more
