Worst margarita 6/27/2009

so im at this so called restaurant not only did the waiter forget he sat me there but it took him 20 minutes to get me a margarita which had a hair in it... I dint drink drank the water they gave me which seems like it came from the kitchen sink.. completely horrible the chef wasnt one bit professional walking around cursing around the whole restaurant. The food wasn't all that great rice was cold beans tasted like 3days old and my sauce i got was greenish brownish dont know what happened there. BAD RESTAURANT WOULDN'T EAT THERE EVER AGAIN. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY Pros: None Cons: Bad chef unsanitary conditions more

Good food and prices 6/19/2009

I came here the other night with my fiancee and we enjoyed it. We had two different servers, but that was not a problem. They kept us filled with our drinks. Their pina colada is really good and comes on the rocks (not frozen). My fiancee liked his margarita (on the rocks - cactus grande?) and it came with an extra floater of tequila. Not a bad deal for $5.95. Chile con Queso was good and very rich, guacamole was a bit bland. The salsa is really spicy, but addictive. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and my fiancee ordered their Shrimp Diabla plate. They were both delicious but his was especially Spicy. We were warned but I don't think we were ready for that. Although my fiancee did finish each bite, he was sweating by the end of it... lol. We will be back. They also have a nice patio - would be enjoyable if it wasn't so hot out! Pros: Good prices, delicious food Cons: Food a little too spicy more

Great place for Lunch 6/18/2009

i've been here two or three times already for lunch and i've enjoyed it each time. their lunch prices are really cheap (i think starting from $4.95) plus you get a free ice tea and of course, the chips (you need to add your own salt) and salsa (spicy but really, really good). i've ordered their combo plate, avocado enchiladas and tex mex enchiladas and all of them are tasty. you also get a good portion for price. i've never come here for dinner but i've skimmed it. it does look good but i'm not sure i would order off of it during lunch hours (i believe you can though) Pros: cheap $$$, free ice tea, good food Cons: enterance more

Worst place in houston 6/1/2009

I went in that so called restaurant a couple of days ago. Not only when i asked for a simple change did i hear the "chef" yell and say "**** them if they don't like it they can go somewhere else" but my food was cold the drinks were flat the restaurant was empty. The waiter wasnt all that professional looking messy hair all over his face. I woulnd't recommend this restaurant to nobody at all. And they have a lttle green sheet of paper on the front door saying Best enchiladas. Please come on i could type that up on my computer on post it up as well Pros: Decent waitstaff Cons: worst chef worst food more

Pitiful 4/15/2009

There was only one other table eating lunch at 12:30 on a Wed so that should have been our first sign to run. I eat in Westchase often and anytime a new restaurant opens they are always packed at first even if their not that great. (not this place) Service was horrible, took forever to get our order taken and that was after we had to go get someone to take it for us. They also didn't keep us full of chips. Food was so-so Pros: Decent atmosphere, free tea Cons: Horrible service (Slow), so/so food more

A great new restaurant outside the loop! 3/26/2009

Delicious, delicious and really delicious. Try one of their many seafood specialties. They will have you thinking what you will try on your next visit. Didn't try any of their authentic mexican food but there are many options. Their website says they have the numero uno margarita... they really do. It's outta this world! Pros: Lobster A La Crema, Margarita Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

This Place is great i went with a couple buddies of mine to eat there on Tuesday March 24 and WOW i havent had mexican food that tasted like that in years it was excellent. The Busgirl and The waiter where both wonderful luis suggested the best enchiladas i have had.. This place is great the service is excellent and the food is to die for i would surely be returning. Pros: Good Waitstaff Cons: Bad location more

Best Mexican and Delicious Seafood 3/20/2009

This place is really, really good. I've visited three times so far and everytime I go, I leave happy and full. The only problem I would say is that they are outside of the loop. I'm sure word of mouth will bring them more customers inside the loop. I've never had a problem with the waitstaff or waiting except on the weekends. I recommend making reservations on a friday night if you want to be seated promptly, especially if they have live music. Their tortilla soup is a must-have, enchiladas that are to die for and seafood items (their red snapper, especially) is a delicacy. Give this place a try, you won't regret it! :) Pros: Best Enchiladas, Tortilla Soup and seafood options Cons: The Drive... but it's worth it. more

Good vegetarian options but terrible service! 3/19/2009

Had to wait 20-30 minutes to get a refill on water. I finally had to walk up to the waiter and ask him for it. The waiter was not attentive at all which there was no excuse for since both times I went the restaurant was pretty empty. My husband and I will not go back. This is a shame since the vegetarian food was good. Pros: Lots of veggie options Cons: Service was awful! more
