I have worked with Institute trained therapists for years; excellent therapists; great techniques. Always a great experience with my current massage therapist. However, I am currently dealing with a special problem, so I decided to go to the "master" herself - Irene. WHAT A MISTAKE! First, she screwed up my appt time but accused me of being late. Second, she did nothing but complain from the time I walked in about the following - (1) another client who was a no-show (to get her off that tangent, I finally said, yeah but, Irene, I DID show & on time!) (2) she bitched about how the staff at the school was trying to confuse her or mess with her or something and other disparaging things about her employees, (3) she really went on & on about what a horrible week she was having ? nothing good had happened (BTW ? I had just come from the funeral of my Godson who died suddenly and young ? I may have ?won? the ? ?having a bad week? contest with that sad event! Irene simply grunt more

Irene's offers many classes to choose from for your degree. They were very flexible with day/night/weekend classes and the instructors were very patient. You get ample practice time in class and at the onsite clinic. (You get massage work performed on you!) If you just want a cheap massage and not interested in attending classes- I would recommend calling the clinic- I have not had a therapist that was bad yet. They also have a store on site.
