Inner Harbor 6/4/2004

Inner Harbor has blossomed since it was first built, as a college student and growing up and living near the Inner Harbor- I would take the bus to college and back home -- watching each year --- seeing it getting better each year. Now twenty year later I am living in NYC and what I can say is that nothing compares to the Inner Harbor. Inner Harbor to me means hospitality, friedliness, homey, relaxing, entertaining, beautiful and scenic during the day while eating or shopping or during the night while strolling on the walk way or iceskating at the rink. In fact though I live in NYC I still go to Baltimore and spend time at the Inner Harbor each time I go home to visit my parents. Inner Harbor Is Home to all of us. more

Happy birthday! 7/29/2003

I go to the harbor all the time. In fact, once I sang at the aquarium. The aquarium is a really cool place to visit. One time, they let us hold star fish, but I'm not sure they do that anymore. One year on my birthday, a few of my friends and I went out to the Harbor. The cheesecake factory is a MUST. (tip: try the Garlic Mashed Potatoes) We of course, went there. Another tradition is the Fudgery, which is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. (We were singing with them-- it was so fun) I suggest the paddle boat rides, too; but be warned: they're tiring. Finally, just walking around is really fun, so don't miss out on sight-seeing! Pros: cool attractions, good restaurants, nice places to shop Cons: bad parking more

Parking is terrible and the parking garage prices are too high, but other than that it's great. Pros: lots of options, the scenery Cons: parking, lines are too long more

best attraction 12/24/2002

The Liberty ship S.S. John W. Brown is a worthy and must see attraction. It represents the cities wartime efforts and contributions in WW 2 in shipbuilding. These ships were the backbone of supply to the far flung war fronts. The ship is a part of the cities long history in shipbuilding, also. Located at pier 3 in lower canton, hours of visitation are 10 until 3 monday thru friday. Pros: Historical Ship, friendly tour guides, No fee to visit Cons: out of way location, not open on weekends more
