My family has a house on the lake and has been in Delavan for close to 15 years now, we frequent this establishment somewhat regularly because its an easy dock-up for our boat and has great local character.
The day experience is very different from the night. The day being, a bustling little spot with good food and a fun (and accommodating) atmosphere.
Then, at night, the energy seems to change. We are from Illinois and love Delavan, but this is one of the few places in town where i get the impression that we are made to feel alienated as ""outsiders."" Although we never really let it get to us, it does get obnoxious. The bartenders seem to have no qualms in showing their blatant disdain for us.
Just not a good look. Let the kids have their fun.
