I'm Indian and find this place to be a disaster. Getting the order right, including drinks is luck. Spices are very off even though I spoke directly to the owner and chef on...

The food was good, but the delivery guy said, "you're too far". I don't know whether he was explaining his late arrival or complaining that I didn't live closer. more

This place is awesome. Always fresh, always fast, always delicious. Try the butter chicken and the sag paneer, also their raita is bomb. There are a couple other Indian places in Burbank, but this one is my favorite! more

I used to love this Indian place when old Punjabi owner was own this place, this is not even close to them, i had a tandoori chicken, totally rubber believe me or not i newer had like this tandoori chicken any where else , chicken tikka masala in the buffet very greasy, all other food was same no flavor at all, began bharta creamy blind flavor , all buffet very cheap quality samosa was too oily, sorry to say this is not my choice at all . the server was unpleasant UN experiences, no worth to come here sorry sorry sorry !!!!!!!! not recommended at all more

One of the Best Indian Restaurant in LA !!! 7/29/2010

The India's Tandoori is one of the best Indian restaurants in LA, certainly the best Indian in the Valley!! Food is delicious, savory and made according to the traditional Indian recipes. Saag paneer, Bengan Bharta, Lamb Tikka Masala as well as Vegetable Samosas with chutneys are our favorite!! Lunch buffet served every day from 11:00 to 3:00 is a great deal!!! The ambiance is casual but pleasant. Service is always great!!! Pros: Delicious food, Great Sevice, Reasonably priced more

New Management -- Worst food 4/9/2010

This restaurant is opened under new management. Management does not know what Indian food is. Food is bland and not tasty at all. Ambience is good, nice location , convenient parking...but food is not good. \r \r Pros: Ambience is good Cons: Food is bad more

Food was awesome and delivery service was flawless! more

Food decent, but with small portions, bland atmosphere, & poor customer service it's kind of pricey for what you get 11/27/2007

First of all, we were in no hurry, but service was slow. It was 7 minutes before the waiter bothered to come over to get a drink order. The prices were higher than we expected, given the decor and service. (White office walls, with blah furniture and a few wall hangings.) Ordered the chicken curry ($10.95), saag paneer ($10.95), and a garlic naan ($3.95). I asked if they could bring some mango chutney with the naan and was told that would be extra. ($1.95) \r \r About 20 minutes after ordering our food was ""delivered"". I was surprised because I thought, at least maybe the portions will be large and we can have the leftovers for lunch. It was not to be, as the portions were not what we had expected - an average sized cereal bowl. The naan was about 9""x 5"". Also, the food was brought out without rice. Rice is extra, so I ordered it. I didn't mind having to pay extra for rice, but with all the extra charges and small protions I also wasn't surprised. In the end, our meal for two cost over $40.00 for a really plain atmosphere, small portions, and okay food. Specifically: curry was good, saag paneer was okay - had 4 pieces of cheese in it, rice was weird & mushy and garlic naan hardly had any garlic. Oh, and halfway through the meal the (owner, manager?) came out and dropped off a condiment tray. \r \r My advice for the restaurant:\r 1. Banish the white: The white walls are bland, slightly depressing, and remind me of a lower end retirement home dining room.\r 2. Better servers: Not sure if the one server who was serving the entire dining area received unexpected business but if you're going to have one server on during the weeknight how about having someone on staff who can handle multiple tables and has a pleasant demeanor? \r 3. Less Scrooge-like: Given your decor & service, don't come off as miserly with the food: paying extra for rice & mango chutney is something many other restaurants do not do, even while they have nice decor, large portions, and excellent service. more

don't bother 12/2/2006

if you want good indian food, don't eat here. this is more like mc indian food. my sag paneer tasted like it was out of a can. my lassi drink was spoiled. the service is atrocious. i saw a couple walk out tonight because they waited a long time and didn't get their food while tables around them did. i felt bad for them because I came in after them and got my food before them. the restaurant needs to learn some customer service skills asap. finally, the chairs and decor are hideous. i won't be going back. Cons: food, decor, service more

Great Indian food in the valley. 11/25/2006

I used to go to this place all the time in the late 1990's. It has a very tasty buffet and a nice setting in downtown Burbank. I'd go there so often that I used to have my own table near the front window where I could watch passersby while I ate their delectable tandoori chicken and chicen tikka masala. They've also got great Navratan Korma and Saag Paneer. I recommend trying the buffet if you are new to Indian food. For veterans, you can also call ahead to see what is on the buffet, which I used to do every Friday afternoon. Pros: Flavor, price, casual comfortable setting Cons: parking a little difficult more

Good little hole in the wall 4/23/2006

For us Indian food novices, this was a good place to go. The service wasn't that great, but we'd go back. more

Pros: price, friendly staff, yummy food Cons: plain decor more

lacks spice 6/8/2004

I'm Indian and find this place to be a disaster. Getting the order right, including drinks is luck. Spices are very off even though I spoke directly to the owner and chef on several excursions. It's average, for the main-stream , doesn't want authentic food kinda place except a little pricy for that... more

Good Indian 3/28/2003

Excellent Indian food at good prices. Better than most higher priced places. The restaurant is lacking in character but the servers are friendly. If you like good Indian food, you won't be disappointed! Pros: Excellent food!, Good Prices Cons: Decor,, Little parking, available more

Great Indian Food 6/28/2002

Whoever said this place has horrible food doesn't know what they're talking about. It might be a bit Americanized, but it's not bad at all. I've had the buffet lunch many times, and it's always been good. Sometimes the selection is better than others, but it's never bad food. If you order off the menu, I highly recommend the saag paneer or the Tikka Masala chicken. Both are delicious. They're mango lasis are scrumptious as well. The service is great, too. The managers are very friendly and attentive. Pros: lunch buffet, brunch buffet, yummy food Cons: parking difficult more
